What I am about to write is not my own. I would never take ownership of this amazing piece of work. It's a short paragraph I found on Tumblr from Luffy about Ace. I have no idea who wrote this, but whoever did is a genius. It struck my heart, and had I not been with people, I would have cried. Spoilers and feels ahead guys.

"Remember when I used to follow you everywhere, and i thought you'd hate me?... but you didn't. Remember when I wanted to be your friend? I thought you'd turn me away...but you didn't. Remember when I found out about your dad? I thought you get so...angry...but you didn't. Remember when Sabo died? I thought we'd come to regret our dreams...but you didn't. Yeah, there was a lot of things you didn't do... but you worried for me. Cared about me in a way... I never thought anyone would. There was a LOT of things I wanted to make up to you when we got back from marineford......but.........you didn't....."
