"I'm being deployed again." The dreaded words Amelia hated hearing had come true, the Queen had requested a meeting with Harry after their engagement last week and had told him the details that he was going to be deployed in the next few days before he officially steps back from being a part of the army. The wedding was two months away, which meant that Harry would be gone for that whole month, making their wedding date even more important and cherished in the family.

"Doesn't she realize that the wedding is coming closer?" Amelia asked as she looked at him standing in front of her, his face wasn't joyful. He hated being deployed, especially this close to a wedding with his love.

"She does, there isn't much I can do about Lia, I know it's not fair but I have to do my last army duty before I become a husband and potentially cut back any other army-related duties. There's always a risk of something threatening happening." Harry spoke

"I get that. But there's no war, you can do your service to your country here." Amelia tried to plead and Harry couldn't help but sigh. He knew this wouldn't go down well with Amelia. She struggled enough as it was without him being there, especially if her illness came back. He helped her through those nights where she couldn't sleep because she kept envisioning those that had been lost to her so long ago.

"Look, I know it's hard but there's nothing I can do about it. I've tried pleading with her but she still won't do anything about it. She refuses to see that my duty is to you and you first. But I do have to put my country first when it comes to public service, that's why I'm going. Putting my country first to make them feel safer and know that we will always have their backs no matter what happens." Harry spoke

"Harry. Please, how am I supposed to get through those engagements without you." Amelia said

"You'll be fine, I promise. You've had enough training from Maria to help you out and you can always ask Kate if you get stuck. Besides there'll be plenty of things for you to complete while I'm gone and before you know it I'll be back again." Harry spoke

"Fine. But you won't be having me until our wedding night for this." Amelia said

"As if you can't resist all of this?" Harry questioned with a small smirk on his face, Amelie rolled her eyes but the smile there was unmistakable. Harry could make her smile no matter the situation and help make her see that what he was doing was for the safety of his country.

"I've resisted before, so I'm sure it won't be hard." Amelia whispered back as she leaned in towards him. Knowing very well that teasing him was not going to end well for her. But he just chuckled in response and stood up from his position of being in front of her. If she wanted to play that way then so be it, no matter how hard it took him to not attack her with his love.

"We should get ready for tonight's dinner, it's your most important engagement." Harry said as he walked towards their shared bedroom.

"It won't take my long, I already have the dress laid out at Kate's place." Amelia responded

"Are you and Kate getting ready together?" Harry asked and Amelia nodded

"We are. Will's coming over here to help you get ready and not find the booze before we go down. We all know what you get like when you drink too much." Amelia said loudly enough and could hear Harry's chuckles.

"Do I really need a babysitter?" He asked

"Yes. You do." Amelia responded

"Alright fine. But you have to wear something pretty." Harry said

"As if I wasn't going to wear something pretty anyway. It's blue by the way." Amelia said

"Thanks, I'll coordinate with a tie." Harry said and Amelia chuckled, knowing that the camera will love to see the royal couple matching with their colours to their engagements.
