TW: mentions of abuse, fighting, cussing

3rd year

Summer was awful. Anna had tought she could fight back, but it only ended up being worse for her. She was still powerless against them. She was angry with herself, so if she had a chance to fight someone her age with an okay reason, she would. Harry wondered why she was acting like that but never really asked her.

When aunt Marge came, it got worse. Both Harry and Anna hated her, but this time, she insulted their parents. Neither really knows who did it, but they accidentaly blew up their aunt. Both of them went to get their things upstairs, neither caring if they used their wand anymore. If she could, Anna would've made sure to make the Dursleys suffer. She deeply wish she could but she simply followed her brother out and sat next to him on the sidewalk of the park. Anna out her head on Harry's shoulder and he put his head on hers. They noticed a big black dog in front of them and somehow called for a magical bus.

Before leaving for school, because the minister decided their actions weren't important enough to expel them, Mr. Weasley warned them to be careful about Sirius Black and how he might be after them. Weirdly enough, he had told them not to go looking for him.

She soon had her first DADA class with the new teacher, who's name seemed awfully familiar to her. Anna didn't face the boggart that day and she was somewhat grateful. She was proud Neville, who faced his fear. During class, Anna was more focused on the professor Lupin, trying to find why he was familiar. Just before the end of class, a name popped in her mind. Uncle Moony. She decided to stay after class and talked to Lupin. When she left, she had memories of her childhood, when her parents were still alive. Memories with professor Lupin.

That year, she improved her playing as chaser. Her friendship with Cedric grew stronger as they spent a lot of time on the quidditch pit. After the first game, where Harry had fainted and Anna had almost fell off her broom too, they both decided to ask professor Lupin help on how to fight off the dementors. Anna had a harder time conjuring a patrons, but she didn't mind as much. She was just grateful she had a chance to spend more time with her professor Lupin. Every time she spent time with him, she would remember more things about her parents.

She tried to help when Ron was dragged away by a big dog, but was frozen in shock when she saw Sirius Black in the Shriecking Shack. Even when they were arguing with him, she just stood back, her eyes fixated on the criminal in front of her. Professor Lupin also barged in, apparently believing that Black was, in fact, innocent. Hermione told Harry not to trust the professor and revealed that he was a werewolf. Anna jumped at Lupins defence, telling Hermione that she had no right to judge him for that, claiming that he was the most trustworthy person in that room. Sirius and Remus had looked at her with a mix of awe and nostalgia. Unknow to her, her outburst had made them think of her mother's temper.

School soon ended, too soon to Anna's liking. She was relieved that she would have somewhere else to go, only after Sirius was cleared of course, but she and Harry had family other than the Dursley and that gave her strength and hope for the next summer. After learning that professor Lupin was leaving, Anna decided to tell him she remembered part of her childhood and that she remembered him as uncle Moony. Fearing that she would loose all contact with him, she asked if he would write to her . To her pleasure, he agreed and she hugged before boarding the train.

4th year

All summer, Anna kept contact with Remus, Neville, Luna and Cedric. She subconsciously  started to keep tract of the moon cycles and started to spend time looking and talking to it. Since she had started to remember her parents she had tried to find some kind of closure. She found talking to the moon a good way to do so. Much to her pleasure, the Weasley family invited them to the World Quidditch Cup. What she liked the most was when they came to pick them up. Most of the Weasley's tried to come by the Floo but they got stuck in the Dursley's fireplace and had to blow it up, seeing the Dursley's face pale brought her much joy and Dudley eating one of Fred and George's joke candy was priceless.

Anna was quite happy to see Cedric and walked with him, learning all about the Quidditch teams and who Cedric was for. She was thrilled to see all the professional players in action and took mental notes of their strategies. The events after the game weren't so great. While running, she lost Harry, Ron and Hermione and was stressed over their security.

Soon enough, they went to school and Anna found out about the  Triwizard tournament. Althought disappointed that she wasn't going to play quidditch this year, she was happy that other schools were coming. She was thrilled to see other students. When the Beauxbatons students were introduced, Anna's jaw dropped at the gorgeous girls. When Durmstrang people came, she couldn't help but find the girls intimidating and gorgeous.

Soon, the champions were chosen. When she found out Cedric was chosen, she felt proud but was also scarred for him, she did see him as an older brother. When the Cup chose someone else and Dumbledore called Harry's name, Anna felt her heart drop. She couldn't have both her brother figures risking their lives in this trouvaient. Harry wasn't even of age! She stayed behind and tried to argue with the ministry envoy that Harry simply couldn't take part of it. To her dismay, he simply told her it was the rules and took her fear for her brother's life as jealousy.

During the first task, she had felt her heart beating fast as Luna and Neville tried to calm her down. When the Yule ball came, Anna was panicked. Not only was she worrying for her brother's second task, but she was having an identity crisis. Every time she hung out with other girls, they would almost all fan over Viktor Krum and Cedric, they would describe them as handsome and hot. Anna would only describe Fleur as hot and attractive. She didn't understand what the most girls found in them, sure they weren't ugly, but in no way she would find them hot.

Cedric introduced her to Cho Chang, his date for the ball. Anna found her lovely and started some kind of friendship with her. Anna settled on going to the ball with Cormac McLaggen, who seemed quite eager to ask her. She didn't enjoy her dance with him at all. He was rude and seemed to force himself onto her, so she soon left him. She shared a dance with Neville and Cedric, both she enjoyed a lot. She couldn't help but wish she had gone with a girl instead, however.

During the second task, Anna felt her heart ache as Harry had to search for Ron and not her, even if she was his sister. When the third task came along, Anna asked Cedric to look out for Harry, trusting that he would do amazing. When Harry came back, holding tight onto Cedric's body, Anna felt out of the world. Her eyes couldn't take themselves off Cedric. She felt guilty, she had been the one to ask him to look out for her brother and now he was dead. The next weeks passed in a daze, Luna and Neville tried to be there for her but she was out of it. She appreciated their efforts of course, but how does one cope with the death of someone they love? She had lost her parents but she had only started last year to remember them. She had started to see Thestrals then. She hugged her two best friends and walked to the Dursley with her brother.
