Christina walked upto the house, pushing the doors open as she saw Lila at the table as she was drawing a picture
"Hey" Christina said, getting the child to look up before she ran and hugged Christina tightly

"Aunt Chrissy, I missed you so much!" Lila said as she kept a tight grip on Christina

"I missed you way more" Christina whispered

"I made you lots of drawings... I'll go get them" Lila smiled as she pulled away and ran off upstairs

"Chris" Laura smiled from the kitchen, walking over

"Holy jeez, Laura... how is the baby?" Christina asked as she hugged her

"Doing great, we are going to have a baby boy" Laura told her

"That's amazing! I am so happy for you and Clint" Christina smiled

"Thank you" Laura smiled

"Chrissy!" Lila suddenly shouted, making her jump and turn into a shadow quickly
"Wow, you have powers?"

"How is it a child can scare me more than anything else?" Christina laughed slightly

"Can you do that again?" Lila asked Chris

"Umm... only if your mom agrees to it" Christina said, seeing Lila look up at Laura

"I can't see why not" Laura smiled, Christina closed her eyes as she sat cross legged on the floor, making some 3d shadows of bunnies and butterflies appear around the room

"Woah, this is amazing Aunt Chrissy" Lila said as she touched the butterfly and Christina slowly let go

"It is new" Christina said but was more scared to keep it up more than anything else

"If you want to change, there is a bag of clothes in Lilas room for you and you know the rest" Laura smiled

"Thank you... I will change then help out in any way I can" Christina nodded as she made her way upto Lilas room and found the bag of clothes. She pulled it out and saw her familiar baggy jumper and leggings 

About 30 minutes later Christina walked downstairs, her hair up in a small Dutch braid as she had it freshly washed as well 
"Pretty sure you have no hot water left from someone way before me" Christina laughed as she saw Laura

"It is fine, I still can't believe your brother and other friends are here after only knowing you and Nat" Laura smiled

"Hmm, yeah. This is our extra family  for sure..." Christina said before she felt this hopelessness in her, looking down at her hands before she noticed the black ashed marks were there

"Are you okay?" Laura asked her

"Honestly? No... I am so stressed out and scared because of my powers" Christina answered

"It will take time to get use to it, you went from not having some to being one of the most powerful beings I know" Laura told her

"I honestly need a real break... after all of this, if I get an after, I am going with Thor upto Asgard for a while" Chris told her as she washed off her hands but it didn't vanish

"Asgard? What makes you want to go up to Asgard?"

"A long story... I'm gonna go see my brother" Christina answered as she opened the door and walked out to see Tony and Steve stood there with Nick as they sorted out wood

"And she is still alive" Tony joked

"Don't even try me right now" Chris shook her head as she smiled slightly at Fury
"Nice to see you boss, I guess" Chris laughed

"Missed you too. Rumours have it someone gained abilities now" Fury stated

"And an Asgardian spirit, total package deal" Chris said as she rested her head against a tree

"Sounds it, happy to see you alive and happy again" Fury stated as he walked over to her

"Missed you too, shame it isn't under any decent circumstances" Chris sighed

"I know but you don't need me anymore, do you?"

"I mean, I will always need my long time friend but as a boss I guess not" Christina smiled slightly

"You got full control of everything and I promised I would give you this one day but try keep it out of Starks hands if you can" Fury said handing her the unredacted file her dad and Peggy wrote up about her and the entire research into Eiras travels on earth

"Thank you" Chris smiled as she hugged him

"Don't tell the others, we don't want them knowing if there are any favourites" Fury joked

"They secretly already know" Christina laughed before she heard a loud bang and jumped, having her powers ready

"Sorry!" Nat shouted, Chris walked over to see the redhead had threw her knife into the water pipe

"Tasha! That will take me ages to fix" Clint whined

"Now you got something else to do with your house" Chris teased him

"Shush you" He muttered as he walked upto the pipe

"Clint wait!" Chris shouted before he pulled it out and of course, a high pressure stream came shooting out the slit
"Should've turned the water off first!" Chris yelled as she used her powers to make a temporary shadow patch over it
"Get something sorted now!" Chris warned him

"Alright!" Clint laughed a little as he walked off

"You are drained of your powers as it is... are you sure about this Chris?" Nat asked her

"Too late?" Chris shrugged as she held it

4 minutes later, Clint finally came down to the pipe with the right things
"Chris you gotta let it go but then it will be awkward to fix" Clint told her

"No, look" She shook her head as she moved her hands and the shadow blockage went into the pipe and held it from the inside

"Lesson learnt, Nat, no knife practice anywhere near my home again" Clint laughed as he switched the water off
"Chrissy, you can let go" He told her. She nodded as she released her powers and looked around

"I might go get some more rest... still pretty exhausted" Chris told him and Nat

"I'm sure Laura can find you someplace" Clint nodded as Chris walked inside

"What happened out there?" Laura asked her

"Natasha happened. You got any place for me to sleep? I know its awkward with the timing but I just need a good rest with these new abilities" Chris explained

"Take the spare room, I'll keep the others out of there until later" Laura smiled

"Thank you Laura" Chris said as she hugged her before making her way to the spare room and crashing onto the bed, asleep.
