Death was nothing new to her.

She watched Matr die in front of her.

She had to stand aside as she witnessed her siblings being slaughtered for no reason.

She had even killed a couple of people herself but death always left a bitter feeling in her.

One death in particular.

Of course, y/n promised herself not to think about it. Painful memories needed to be forgotten as soon as possible.

"I'm leaving." y/n announced before turning and sprinting away.

"Hey! Y/n, wait-!" Amber called and y/n ran faster, kicking up dust as she disappeared around the corner in a hurry.

'Y/n doesn't usually run off so fast...' Amber thought, 'I wonder what's wrong.'

Honey, she ran away cause she didn't want you to see her cry. She loves you enough to want to be strong for you.

As soon as y/n was out of sight, the emotions she'd chained down hit her like a Ruin Guard slapping her halfway across Mondstadt.

Those emotions hit her hard enough to get her legs to give out, causing her to face plant on the ground.

Y/n didn't bother moving.

Ah, yes.

Y/n's favorite spot to sulk.

A tree.

Amber and Collei were staring up at y/n who was sleeping on a branch, snoring.

Collei glanced at Amber then at y/n. Then back at Amber. Then at y/n.

'She's simping.' Collei concluded.

"Hey! Y/n!" Amber called.

Y/n huffed, opening an eye to glare down at Amber, "...Bunny Girl. I will not go."

"Come on, you promised!" Amber whined.

Y/n glanced at Collei, "Cauliflower. Did Bunny Girl drag you along?"

"Yep. But she won't tell me where we're going." Collei sighed, crossing her arms.

Y/n shrugged, "I have an idea but I cannot say."

"Why?"

"Big words are scary."

"I'll explain it to you on the way there!" Amber said before jumping up and grabbing y/n's leg, trying to drag her from the tree, "Y/n, come on!"

"Nye!"

Collei sweatdropped as y/n released the tree and fell on top of Amber, screeching when her burnette friend picked her up by the waist and began carrying her away.

It was a couple of minutes before y/n gave up, grumpily trudging along with Collei and Amber.

Y/n had to admit though.

'This is fun.'

Y/n watched curiously as Collei and Amber played pile em up, having already finished her own pile.
