the deathly power of her love
rising from the ocean's foam
crashing down upon my horizon
fertile soil in a barren land
beauty only from the morning star
intoxicating sweet upon her lips
leave your roses upon my bed
as i offer up my chocolate and gold
do we learn love from our mothers
or through boyish beating hearts
we play along to the sunrise song
as life begins in newfound purity
innocent kisses can turn so sour
with the manipulation of your pride
i will learn the original meaning of love
and crush the crown upon your head
