"Hey, I never see you around here before. Are you new?"

The dandelions had blown to the fresh morning breeze, sprinkled on her petite face, some landed on the strands of her hair, some landed on the nose. The sun had risen to keep Mondstad warm, now that it's the sun's turn to shine.

The flowers she held一small lamp grass, sweet flowers, dandelions, mints, everything she could find on the ground were on her tiny hands. Her feet shuffled as she looked into his glazing lilac eyes with bravery and confidence.

He was in a neat attire, something a mere commoner couldn't use, the same as she saw from the red-haired young master of the house. Peace was what left between the two as people back in the manor were working hard while they talked at the entrance garden.

"You know, my brother works here. What about you?" She asked, oblivious to who was she talking to. The young boy turned his head around, tilting it in confusion. It took him a while to speak, as if there was something wrong with his mouth. The words sounded like a muffle, but that was enough for her to catch his voice. The wind blew right through her hair, blocking her view of the young boy.

She tucked her h/c strands behind her ears, getting a better glimpse of the young boy's appearance. He was skinny, small, shorter than her and seemed fragile. "I'm Y/n L/n. I'm not a noble but my dad has this last name somehow." She stepped closer to the boy, flowers still on hands. "What about your name?" The way she spoke soothened him, he was intimidated, however, the closer her presence was, the more he felt safe.

He took a brief moment to glance at her appearance better, the way his lilac eyes stared一admiring the void of e/c. Her h/c was tucked back to her ears... everything he could try to see.

"I'm.. Kaeya Ragvindr."

"So, you actually came."

"Very glad for you to know my presence."

The breakfast meal一sandwiches were served in front of the two people that had come to meet each other. The morning was fresh and perfect for her, but she had decided to ruin that with accepting an offer that was given to her last night.

Now, the sandwiches didn't look that delicious anymore to her solemn e/c. "Are you not satisfied with the sandwich?" Kaeya一the person whom invited her, asked the obvious question.

She resisted herself from clicking her tongue or rolled her eyes, not in front of the sandwiches.

"What makes you think of that, Sir?"

"You haven't touched it since it arrived."

Ah, yes, she hadn't touched the sandwich. "Anyways, about my brother's case." End of the chatter, she went straight to the point with no hint of easiness in her tone. "Straight to the point, I see? You still haven't changed."

The sound of her knife and fork were landed on the plate, earning a small clattering voice. "Please do remember who got me and my family into this mess," she warned.

Stares were in displeased.

"Oh, right. Let's take this slow, shall we?"

"Hm, how incompetent."

She lifted the sandwich, trying to force her appetite to eat. Her remarks had never failed to swoon people to a fight, wether it'd be brain or the brawn. Albeit Kaeya had almost fallen for one, he still managed to keep his mind rational.

"Please make this quick, Sir. How's my brother's progress." It no longer sounded like a question, it was a demand. He lifted both hands in defense from her chilling stares, even did so with his usual smirk.
