"Miracle, kumain ka kaya muna? Kanina ka pa nakatulala diyan. Baka malipasan ka ng gutom." Nag-angat ng tingin ang babae nang marinig ang boses ni Saellyn sa harap niya.
Miracle smiled awkwardly. "I'm okay, Saellyn. Hindi pa naman ako nagugutom, 'saka hihintayin ko na lang munang magising ang asawa ko."
Ngumiti ang babae bago umupo sa tabi niya, she can feel Saellyn's hand on her back, caressing it to comfort her. "He'll wake up soon. Sabi naman ng doctor ay hindi gaanong kalala 'yung allergy ni Trigger. His allergy attack was more fatal back then."
"Fatal? I heard he experienced this before, kailan nangyari 'yon?" Miracle curiously asked.
"I can't remember it completely but it happened before. He's super super allergic to peanuts and he accidentally ate a cake with peanuts in it. Gladly, may malapit na Hospital sa lugar na 'yon kaya nadala agad ang asawa mo. The doctor said that he might be dead kung hindi napaaga ang pagdala sa kaniya sa Hospital. Kaya nga 'yung asawa ko, si Dagger, since he's the closest one to Trigger, ingat na ingat siya sa mga kinakain ng asawa mo."
Miracle just sat frozen on her seat while listening to Saellyn's explanation.
She cleared her throat before staring at Trigger who's peacefully sleeping on the Hospital bed. Did she really cross the line?
"Hindi ba sinabi sa 'yo ni Trigger ang tungkol doon?" Binalik niya ang atensyon sa katabi bago ito ilingan.
"Hindi naman s-siya nagkukwento sa akin masyado," utal niyang sagot.
"What? Dapat kinukwento niya sa 'yo 'yung mga bagay na 'yon. Napaka-weird talaga ng magkakapatid na 'yan. He was already in pain when you're not by his side, he didn't even do well in rehabilitation tapos--"
"Wait, what? Anong rehabilitation?" mabilis niyang putol sa kausap.
Saellyn stared at her unbelievably. "What the hell, Miracle. Hindi mo rin alam?"
She shook her head in confusion.
"No one told you? As in? Even your friends?" Muli siyang umiling.
"W-What happened? I'm clueless about it. Rehabilitation? Project ba ni Trigger 'yon? Or something like--"
"He was in rehab for one year."
Mabilis na nawala ang kulay sa mukha ni Miracle nang marinig ang linyang 'yon mula sa kausap. Rehab?
"Bakit siya nagpa-rehab? Wala namang mental disorder ang asawa ko," she asked unbelievably. Wala siya ni isang mahanap na dahilan kung bakit kailangang pumailalim ni Trigger sa rehabilitation.
"He completely lost his sanity when he was all alone, Miracle. Maraming bumatikos sa asawa mo at tinawag siyang baliw, he was all alone when he handled those hates because that time, his relationship with his brothers is not too good. Kaya hindi rin siya tinutulungan ng mga 'yon. Mag-isa si Trigger noong hinarap niya ang publiko after his rehabilitation, he proved everyone that he's doing fine again. After he faced the media, he reconciled with his brothers again."
Nawala ang atensyon ni Miracle sa buong paligid. Ang tangi lang pumapasok sa loob ng utak niya ay ang mga sinabi ni Saellyn.
"That's why we're glad that you came back, ngayon na lang ulit naging masaya ang asawa mo."
She shut her eyes without saying anything. She's completely speechless, and shocked.
"I'll get food for you, Miracle. Lalabas lang ako saglit, I'll be back in a minute also." Napatingin na lang siya kay Saellyn nang yakapin siya nito nang bahagya. She smiled sweetly because of this woman's sweetness.
Dahil wala siyang lakas ng loob na magsalita, tinanaw na lang niya ang papalayong pigura ng babae. Nang mawala ito sa paningin niya ay muli siyang bumaling sa asawa.
"Why aren't you telling these things to me, Trigger?" she whispered silently.
Maingat siyang tumayo mula sa sofa bago lumapit sa pwesto ng lalaki. Unconsciously, she caressed his peaceful face.
"Where's my wife?"
Gulat na napalingon si Miracle sa pintuan nang marinig ang malalim boses na 'yon. She swallowed hard before answering. "Lumabas siya saglit, may b-bibilhin lang daw siya."
Dagger entered the room with a straight face. Binaba lang nito ang hawak na cellphone sa lamesa na katabi ng higaan ng kapatid.
"What did you guys ate a while ago?"
She looked directly at Dagger's eyes. "I don't know. He ordered some foods and--"
"My brother will never order something that might trigger his allergies. Kaya nagtataka ako kung bakit nagkaganito ang kapatid ko. Aside from those dishes he ordered, what did you guys ate?" galit pa rin ang boses na tanong nito.
Miracle was speechless at that moment. She was scared, of course. She's facing a Knights who's mad right now and she don't know what to answer.
She cleared her throat. "Why don't you just get straight to the point? You're blaming me for what happened, right? You can be honest to me because I don't mind at all."
Dagger laughed sarcastically. Muling bumalik ang galit sa mga mata nito dahilan para manlamig si Miracle sa takot. Pero hindi niya pinahalata ang reaksyon.
"I know what your plans are, Miracle. And I can tell it to Trigger." She was frozen in her position. "But I don't want to stick my nose to your life and to my brother's life." Para siyang nakahinga nang maluwag sa dinagdag nito.
"What are you talking about? Plans? Excuse me? I'm in coma for five years and--"
"You really think I'll believe your lies? What do you take me for? A stupid asshole?" Matalim siyang tinitigan ng lalaki sa mga mata. "I wasn't crowned as a king kung magiging tanga lang din ako. My brother is obsessed to you that's why he's turning a blind eye. He'll believe everything you'll say because he loves you. He'll believe your lies because he's fucking obsessed with you and you're taking advantage of that."
Kumuyom ang mga kamao ng babae sa galit. Dagger is really a big threat to her plans. If she didn't meet this man, she wouldn't feel this way.
"My brother was there when you needed him the most, Miracle. Sa lahat ng tao sa mundo, you're the only person who's clearly aware why you're still alive inspite of the nightmares you've been through. You're still alive because of my brother. But when he's fucking suffering for five years, where were you?" Dagger laughed sarcastically.
"You don't know anything--"
"Where exactly are you at his worst, Miracle?"
