W: TEA SHALL BE SPILLED

**

Each member of the very unlikely trio were growing quite frustrated.

Hours on hours of sitting, debating, and idealizing. It should have been a conversation for the history books, with the two most intellectual people in the world— plus Rory. However different the two men were, neither could deny the vast extents of knowledge and power each male possessed.

Unfortunately, like most men, the two wizards were openly growing frustrated with the other. With each male's pride, and in Tom's case, ego. And Aurora, like most women, was there to help clean up their mess. Acting like a buffer between the two, she couldn't believe this is what her life has come to.

They would have a house elf bring meals, along with the occasional snack; which pleased Rory to no end— her lame attempt at sandwich making truly made her appreciate Hogwarts' food in a new light.

As the hours clicked by, Snape visited to check up on them once or twice. She couldn't exactly blame him— she'd be concerned as well if the child under her care was gone for hours, whispering secretively with her strange Headmaster. Although after lying and reassuring him that everything was peachy, he returned back to his office.

Aurora simply couldn't believe the amount of patience that Dumbledore held. Running on little to no sleep, added on top of an argumentative Tom Riddle, the whole ordeal nearly made her lose her marbles. They had been voicing and spewing ideas for hours until suddenly, a thought struck Aurora.

"Sir," she said politely, "I still do not understand. I was not included in my own vision or whatever it's called. And my story with Tom placed with that prophecy simply makes zero sense. I've also never heard of any Malfoys to be seers."

There had to be something bigger going on— the timing of everything didn't match.

There was a brief pause. And then—

"That is because you are not a Malfoy," Dumbledore grimaced.

Her and Tom's eyes widened at the same exact moment— under normal circumstances she would've scolded him for daring to be in sync with herself. However, she was too in shock at what she'd just heard, which she presumed to be her ears playing tricks on her.

"I beg your pardon?"

He sighed, "You are adopted, Aurora. I was hoping to never have to tell you this, however I feel that you've proved that you're more than capable of handling such things."
