Omni huntsman(On Hold)

V1E2 the first step!

Deep within dream world... We see y/n having a nice fun dream of his family, and some happy times of his much younger years. But it all goes down hill when he's waken up from the obnoxious sound of a ginger girl being way to loud to her friend, who had black hair with a pink streak

y/n: "wow... She sounds more annoying than ditto, and I don't know how that's possible"

with a slightly annoyed yawn, y/n gets up and put away his things, and decided to get ready quickly before he'd have to deal with a lot of people. y/n doesn't do well in crowds.

But everywhere y/n went to prepare himself for the day, that girl was still talking, first the bathroom while brushing his teeth, the cafeteria, which y/n clearly saw her slurp an entire pancake like a freaking noodle.

y/n: "and eats as much as upchuck... Something is seriously wrong with that girl"

And then the lockers, where y/n pretended to grab something and put it into his pocket. After all, his weapon is permanently strapped to his wrist. While doing so, he notices the blonde and the rose girl from last night, wanting to go say hi to them and hopefully do a better job at it, he walked over, but stopped when he saw a blonde boy walk past, confusion obviously in his voice. So being the nice guy he is, y/n thought he'd help the guy out.

Y/n: "hey! Buddy! Having some trouble there?"

Blonde boy: "huh? o-oh, yea. Just trying to find my locker, is all!"

Y/n: "really? That's it? You definitely don't have a sense of direction huh?"

Y/n was about to say something else, but saw the boy was gone, and now leaning on a locker while talking to two girls, specifically the one in white

Blonde boy: "you know what else is great? me, jaune arc. Nice to meet you"

Y/n: "jaune huh? I'll keep that name in mind"

White: "you again?"

Redhead: "nice to meet you, jaune!"

for some reason, jaune pushes the redhead out the way and continued talking to the girl in White, which was revealed by jaune that her name is Weiss.

Jaune: "yeah, yeah. So, Weiss! Couldn't help but overhear your fondness of me the other day"

Y/n: "whoa, whoa, whoa! Slow it down there! Miss snowflake here though you were attractive?! I find that very hard to believe"

Weiss: "I was faking it"

Y/n: "that makes so much more sense!"

Jaune: "don't worry, no need to be embarrassed!"

Y/n: "oh my gods. How stupid can he be"

Jaune: so, been hearin' rumors about teams! I was thinking you and me would make a good one. What do you say?"

Redhead: "actually, I think the teams are comprised of four students, and sometimes will have five-"

Y/n: "does she mean like my sister? She's on team CFVY right? That velvet girl is nice. Wonder if I'll see her here at beacon"

Y/n was pulled from his thoughts, hearing something about heading to the Cliff, he also say jaune slouched against a wall. He missed a bit, didn't he? He has a knack for that. Be peers around before sneaking away to the said cliffs, and once he did, he say platforms, so he stood on a random one, and as more and more students got there, he noticed he was next to the blonde again. Hopefully she doesn't try to flirt with him.

Ozpin: "For years you have trained to become warriors, and today your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest"

Glynda: "Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of "teams." Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates… today"

Y/n: "so whoever I first see, I will be on their team. Seems simple enough"

Ozpin: "These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you can work well. That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years"

Ginger: "see? I told you!"

Ozpin: "After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path… or you will die"

Y/n: "way to show confidence old man"

Ozpin: "You will be monitored and graded through the duration of your initiation, but our instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff. We will regard that item, as well as your standing, and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions?"

y/n decided to block the rest of the conversation out, as he popped up the dial of the Omnitrix and scrolled through the different transformations he could use, but before he could even decide what alien to become, he gets flung into the air by the pad he was just standing on.

Y/n: "I knew something was wrong with those things!! GAHH!!"

being a little too freaked out from the falling, y/n pops up the dial again and slams it down, hopping for the best, mainly hoping for Heatblast, or stinkfly.

Y/n: "a flyer would be nice!!"

Ditto: "ditto?! now is not the time for jokes!! Stupid watch!!"

The short alien screams at the top of his lungs, while flapping his arms in hopes of flying. Which does indeed fail miserably as he continued to fall

Ditto: "ok! Calm down y/n, you got this! You've practiced ditto a thousand times! He's your favorite! So he's gotta have a way to land!"

Boom! Lightbulb! Y/n, as ditto, splits in half, creating a clone, as he and the clone make another clone each, each grabs the others hands and start to free fall

Ditto1: "ok. We're slowing down! Let's aim for somewhere-"

And they land directly into a tree, luckily it's the top of the tree, but still.

Ditto3: "you were saying?"

Ditto1: "oh, whatever, just shut up and help us get down"

Ditto2 makes another clone to help himself get out of the tree, and then help the other three get off the tree, but the second they all land on the ground, they see themselves surrounded by Grimm, beowolves. So in turn, each ditto creates another clone, putting ten dittos in total.

Ditto6: "what the? What kind of situation did you bozos bring us into?!"

Ditto3: "shut up and don't complain, be glad we're even here. Stupid oz-man launched us off a cliff!"

Ditto8: "eh? was grandpa max there?"

Ditto1: "nope"

Ditto6-10: "that explains it"

The ten ditto's huddle around and stare down the pack of wolves, waiting for the right moment to strike.
