"Si." I nodded, walking and talking down the hallway with the new hire, Stephanie, that was supposed be shadowing me for the day.
She was a cool girl and she was training for her new PA position on floor 8, where Madi was, and we'd ended up realizing that we both spoke English and Spanish fluently.
"Yeah. I was just talking to my girl a few weeks ago about teaching her seriously." I admitted while we made our way down the hall, considering I really wanted her to learn.
When we had babies and shit, I would teach them and get them lessons so I didn't want her to be left out in the crib.
How would that look?
"Wait."
"Have you already taught her anything?" Stephanie asked and I smacked my lips, chuckling.
"Nah, not really.." I trailed off, truthfully.
"I mean, I be trying to teach her little sayings and shit but she don't really be listening to me though."
"She'll either get tired and want me to shut up or she'll say I'm yelling at her and being mean, when I get frustrated."
"That's why I think if it's somebody other than me..."
"..another girl, she'll probably listen." I admitted.
Outside of this, Stephanie had told me that she occasionally taught Spanish and asked if I knew anybody that was interested.
And I instantly thought of my baby.
"Well hey, I wouldn't mind."
"She sounds super sweet, I wish I could meet her." She went on saying and I smirked to myself, thinking about Madison.
I knew she was on this floor and I can't lie and say I wasn't trying to fuck around and get a little rile out of her.
Shit, I liked seeing my baby a little jealous.
"Is she fully committed in wanting to learn though or do you just want to force it on her?" She asked as I looked up, seeing Madi and Leonie looking directly at us as we came down the hall.
"I don't really know." I said, though I knew she would probably be interested because of the stuff going on with my moms.
She'd be happy to translate all the shit my mama be saying.
"..you can ask her right now though." I pointed to Madi, sitting at the receptionist desk and Stephanie looked up, seeing exactly who my lady was.
