Addison Cullen sat on the wooden railing of the balcony, her legs pulled into her chest and a random book resting in her hands, she was pretty sure it was one of Jasper's left behind history books but she had only read three pages before dazing into the trees. Addison missed her hammock, she found herself missing a lot of things since seeing Laurent, Edward was one of them... It didn't matter how many times he hurt her, she just couldn't stay mad at him, he was her brother after all and she loved him even though he pushed her around or said horrible things about her sometimes. She knew that was one of her's and Bella's similar flaws,no matter how many times they got hurt by Edward they'd go back, every single time. It was just in their nature, no matter how many times they told him they hated him, they'd go back, every-single-time.
Addison found herself wishing that wasn't the case, somewhere deep inside her she never wanted to see him again, and if she did she wanted to punch him, but she couldn't help but think of the good times, like her first ballet recital Swan Lake. She remembered looking out into the audience and seeing her family but most of all she remembered him mouthing the words 'you can do this'. Addison could never hate him, she could be petty and ignore him but not forever, eventually, she'd go back, she always did...

"Addison! Just wake up already!" Isabella finally shouted tired of repeating the spaced-out vampire's name over and over with no response, Addison snapped out of her daze looking at Bella with wide and confused eyes. "Wha- oh sorry Bells guess I was somewhere else" she shook away her depressing thoughts of the past, spinning around so her legs dangled off the railing. "What's the matter?" she asked concerned, the human had seen better days, days where she could sleep without fear of vampires coming to drain her, days where all she had to worry about was homework and upcoming tests and of course graduation and college. "N-Nothing's wrong, I just...what happened in those woods" Addison knew that question would come up, she had lucked out yesterday when Bella was so shaken up and could barely form a coherent sentence, hell she basically had to rock the girl to sleep and even then she still awoke with screaming nightmares, "nothing happened Bella-". "Don't- Don't lie to me please, there were those big wolves and Laurent, and y-you came back without even a scratch- it just doesn't make any sense" Bella's hands tugged through her messy brown hair, her breathing becoming heavy as her heartbeat thumped rapidly. "Bella, Bella, calm down, you're going into overdrive" Addison tried to tease the girl but she was concerned about the human, she tended to be more frantic than calm anymore.
