Grace Evans

Harry got the chip removed. We barely talked on the way to the hospital and back. I was still so disappointed in him.

We separated midway because I had to get a small parcel from someone as Raymond had informed me.
I was told that Garrett was a difficult man. He wasn't an easy person to break.

I reach the hotel putting my shades on and go to the receptionist.

"I'm Alice Woods. I'm here for Garrett Bergman." I say as she nods in approval giving me the room number. 418.

I take the elevator waiting in anticipation. I wasn't scared for some reason. It was like I was in this whole other zone. That no matter what happened, I'll be okay with it.

I reach his door and knock.

He opens up with a cigarette hanging at the end of his lips. Brown hair, good height, a hell of a body.

He was shirtless, his body covered in tattoos.

"Oh. I wasn't expecting you anytime soon." He opens the door as I walk in.

I look around seeing numerous number of empty glasses and half-lit cigarettes.

"You came here for the box I presume?" He takes a drag.

"Yes."

"Your name, if I may?"

"Alice."

"You don't talk much do you?" A sly smirk curls up his lips.

"I would but I'm not here for small talk." I force a smile.

"Really?" He pouts tauntingly.

"The box." I state sternly holding out my hand.

"Too much of a hurry I see."

"Yes. Because there are a million things that I'd rather be doing right now."

"Young lady, you need to calm down." He holds out his cigarette.

"I'd calm down once I get the box." I give him a cold look.
"So," I take the cigarette from his hands and take drag.

Smirking, I blow the smoke on his face. "Let's get this done with."

He smirks taking the cigarette back from my fingers.
"I think you haven't heard about me." He takes a drag.

"Oh I have, I just don't care." I shrug.

He keeps his eyes on me for a moment before checking me out entirely.

He crosses his hands in front of him leaning over the wall.
"What will I get in return?"

"That's not my area of expertise so I'd leave it to Raymond."

"But what would that tiny brain of yours do if you had to take it from me by hook or crook?"

"As far as you are concerned, I think a few punches should do."

His eyebrows furrow a little but he let's out a chuckle.

"You're funny." He walks over to his bedside table taking out the little black box.
