jungkook stared at his body in his mirror, he hated how his ribs weren't visible. they had to be visible or he wasn't good enough, he was convinced! that was all he heard during trainee days.

"n-no more eating" he shakily mumbled, pulling down his shirt and sighing. why couldn't he just be skinny?

why did hoseok love him? hoseok was beautiful unlike him.

"jungkookie, going to the gym again?" hoseok whined, gripping on to jungkook's waist.

jungkook flinched, he didn't like when people touched his waist. it reminded him of how the horrendous the fat around it was, he was quick to push hoseok off.

it left hoseok with a confused expression that quickly made his lips a small triangle, "i'll be back at nine" jungkook said, hoseok looked at his watch. it was barely six.

"huh? but why?" he asked, every day jungkook was at the gym. he rarely saw him anymore, "to exercise, i don't want to get fat" he explained, hoseok wanted to speak up but before he knew it, he was alone again.

jungkook hated seeing the boy sad but the thoughts in his head got the best of him.

hoseok frowned, pulling out his phone to text jungkook.

hoseok started crying. he missed his boyfriend a lot. he rarely saw him and when he did, the boy looked thin and tired.

he looked exhausted, bags under his eyes, his clothes were hanging. why did jungkook do this?

he would surely snap out of it, right?

hoseok was wrong.

jungkook didn't snap out of it. when he did this, he did it for two weeks at most and snapped out of it. this time, it had been almost four months and the time at the gym only got longer.

he wasn't sure jungkook was eating at this point. he would bring jungkook a salad at the gym but found it in the trash can. it broke his heart.

his last straw was when he saw a notebook where jungkook counted all his calories for the day.

"you're not going to the gym again" hoseok sternly said, jungkook raised a brow, "why not?" he asked, hoseok let him go every other day, why not now?
