When I make it in life.
Because I feel I will,
You will treat me like I belong,
Make me feel like I belong now.
You will introduce me
To people with connections,
Connect me to those people now.
You will call me
Many times on my phone,
Call me now.
You will speak highly of me,
And call me beautiful names,
Speak good of me now.
You will stand with me,
Because you want to gain something,
Kneel with me now.
You will invite me to your parties,
And I will not come.
Invite me to those parties now.
You will laugh
To almost everything I say,
Laugh with me now.
Friends of mine,
Parents of mine,
Lover of mine,
Ride with me in these not so beautiful times,
Encourage me now,
Grind with me now,
Don't wait for when I make it.
Because when you wait
For that time to be present,
I might chose to be absent.
