"You're avoiding the question" - Chapter 11

Heyyy we have 400 viewers!!! Thank you all so much! This chapter intro won't be long but after this chapter girlll it's gonna get GOOD I'm so excited. Alright I'll save you from reading anymore of this intro...enjoy!

"Okay we have it. Our question is that, How come you were able to make the third Hokage and Inoichi Believe in you? There is no way that they meet a random person and all of a sudden trust them even with seeing their memories. So what were your memories?"

Naruto stood there speechless. What should he say? He couldn't tell them his memories and he couldn't really make up an excuse as he said he'd answer any question. All he really wanted to do right now was crawl up into a ball and sit on his bed. But clearly he had to say something.

They were all just staring at him. "Hello?...you alright Naruto?" Asked Rin. "Oh yeah...I'm fine I'm just thinking on how to answer that." He did find an excuse to say but he wasn't sure if it would work.

It won't hurt to say a little bit. Right? Well we're going to find out in a minute.

"Well my memories just made them trust me? I'm not sure how to explain it as the reason You guys and Minato don't know my memories or my past was because I didn't want more then two people seeing them. So why should I tell you right now? I also said no personal questions."

"Oh come on!! You said you'd answer any of our questions.!" Shouted obito

"But he did say no personal questions, and he did make a good point so why even bother? He's not gonna tell us either way" said Kakashi

"Fine fine! I'll say a tiny bit why they trust me. First, I've done nothing wrong in my life, my memories proved that. Second, mind your business!" Naruto said sticking his tongue out.

"You act like a child" said Kakashi "Y'know Kakashi, you are a child so why don't you act your age."

While Naruto and Kakashi were bickering. Minato was leaning against the tree. Not bad of an excuse, but I wanted to know too, why can't he just trust me already? I feel a connection and all he does is push himself away. He needs someone to be there for him

He acts like I can't see his eye bags and how exhausted he looks. Those must be some bad nightmares...but what causes them? And what are they about? If he could just open up to me, maybe I can tell him-

"Minato sensei, you're zoning out again you ok?"asked Rin. "Oh yeah don't worry I was just thinking! How about we go get something to eat? It's already noon"

"Already noon? Why don't we get some ramen!" Yelled obito. "I'm actually sick of ramen for right now besides I have a couple things I need to do" said Naruto.

"Like what?" Asked Minato "I just feel like walking around and getting some supplies for the mission next week. Is that alright?"

"Yeah it is can I catch up with you later?" Naruto just stared at him. "Yeah sure"

Naruto walked off towards the stores. While Minato and team 7 went to go get some lunch. While walking Naruto noticed a girl with black hair. He thought nothing of it until she turned around. She had Sasuke's eyes.

She's sasukes mother. She's beautiful. I miss him y'know. I'd rather not think about that right now.

"Hey mommy can we get some dango!?" Shouted the boy. "Oh itachi, I'm making lunch soon maybe after?"

"Okay fine! But we better get it!" Naruto stared att he boy. That's itachi! Aww how cute he is when he's a kid. I hope he had a good childhood until...that night.

The mother and son walked away towards the fruit stand and Naruto went to get some more sharper Kunai.

After shopping around for the day it was about 6 pm. Minato had said he wanted to Catch up with him later but he had no idea when that would be so instead he just went to the small park that had a pond and sat on the bench.

Naruto always loved the outdoors and sunsets. It had that crisp air and warm feeling that you don't know how to explain. It made him feel happy and free since he's been here.

Naruto was finally settling down until he heard some foot steps behind him. It was Minato. "Hey Naruto! I said I'd catch up with you later  you mind if I sit next to you?"

Naruto looked at him and patted the bench motioning that he could sit there. "So how was lunch with your team?" 

"He didn't go, instead they all went home and relaxed. So Kushina and I went out for lunch. It was good, thank you"

"That's good." The blond said fiddling his thumbs. The tension was for sure there. It was awkward and quiet they both waiting for one of them said something until Minato finally spoke up.

"So Naruto, I know that you haven't been getting much sleep. Why is that?" Minato asked bluntly. "I'm not sure. I guess the beds uncomfortable"

"That's a bad lie Naruto even you could do better. What's the real reason" Naruto didn't want to speak to him let alone tell him his nightmares.

"It's my past that keeps me awake." Minato looked at Naruto. "Was it bad? You're only 18. What could have happened?"

"I'm sorry that's quite rude of me, you only have to tell me if you're comfortable" come on just tell me. Why don't you trust me?? I know we just met but we've been with each other for a while now. I'm not the bad guy and you know that Naruto. I just want to help you...no child well young adult...should feel this way. I just don't understand him. He's. So mysterious.

"Oh no don't worry Minato you're fine! I don't want to stress you out. It was just my friends their dead now." Minato stared at him. "It's nothing really. By the way it's already 8 pm. I'm going to go bed early. Or try at least" Naruto got up from the bench and started waking home.

Minato stared at his feet. He wanted to know more but he understood how the boy felt. So he stiff up and ran toward Naruto. "Naruto wait!"
Naruto turned around and was greeted by a warm hug from Minato.

"Sleep well, you deserve it." Naruto slowly out his hands around Minato and embraced his hug. A small smile appeared on his face. He sorta enjoyed this moment even as awkward as he is.

"Thank you, Minato" Naruto turned around and contributed walking home.

Naruto got to his apartment. He showered and was lying in bed now.

I wanted to tell him...but I couldn't. I still can't feel comfortable knowing that he's my father but he doesn't know that yet. And the whole situation is still hard for me to talk about but I just...don't want to worry about it right now. I'd rather try and get some sleep.
