Part 45

Bijan walked in first and Saad followed her. Seeing Bijan Asad and Zaid stood up in shock and seeing their reaction everyone stop talking and turn to follow their gaze.

Bijan was in her light cream color Punjabi suit with her head covered with the same color dupatta. She stood in the middle of the room and wished everyone together Asslam Walikum

Everyone in the room wished her back in unison Walikum Asslam. Asad came forward and stood beside her but Bijan's gaze was fixed on both Mahira and Zarin. She too was mesmerized by seeing Zarin's beauty. Asad saw and shook Bijan a little by her shoulder so that she stops staring at her. Asad decided to ask the reason for her sudden surprise arrival so he spoke

Asad: Bijan how come you are here? Why did you not inform us?

Bijan smiled at him and said

Bijan: Saad brought me here and I'm here for a reason.

Asad just nobs his head with a smile knowing what it could be and did not say anything future.

Bijan came near Zarin's bed and stood close there and moved her hand lovingly on Zarin's head and then kissed her forehead. Zarin was happy but scared also to see an elderly woman. Bijan saw her face and understood that she is scared so she holds Zarin's hand in her and said softly

Bijan: Masha Allah Princesses you are so beautiful. Kisi ki nazar na lage tume (nobody's evil eye will be on you) and please don't get scared of me.

Zarin gave a small smile hearing her and nob her head. Bijan then turn towards Mahira and looked at Saad. Saad understood he needs to introduce them to her, so he came forward and introduced her to Mahira. Bijan kissed her forehead lovingly then Saad introduced Bijan to Zoya, Zara, and Yusuf

Once all were introduced they settled down on their seat. Their seating arrangement was, on the sofa it was Zaid, Asad, and Yusuf on the single-seater sofa Zara, and on the handle of it Zoya, Zarin on the bed and Mahira was standing next to her, Bijan on the chair which was near bed and Saad next to Bijan on another chair.

After, all were settled Bijan decide to bring the topic of marriage, but she decides to bring it up in her style the way she and Nagma bhabhi (khan brother's mother) always had dreamed. So Bijan turned towards Zoya and spoke

Bijan: Zoya I need your help.

Zoya was shocked to hear Bijan and quickly stood up and came in front of Bijan and asked

Zoya: how can I help you Bijan?

Bijan: Zoya did you ever played ghar ghar (house house) in your childhood

(Ghar Ghar (House) - (The mandatory game everyone has willingly or forcefully played. Though the game is typically associated with girls, our tired guy friends made up good stories to participate too either as a father, uncle, brother or husband!)

Zoya looks at Bijan in disbelief like what is she asking. All of them were confused why Bijan is asking this question to Zoya. Zoya just nobs her head in yes with confusion and Bijan smiled at her and stood up from the chair and hugged her. Zoya was taken back but when Bijan pulled back she told

Bijan: Zoya I want you to remember that and act with me. So in short let play that game again.

Everyone in that room was shocked would be an understatement. Nobody thought Bijan would say something like this. It's so childish behavior when a woman in her mid-fifty does something like this.

Saad looked to Bijan in shock and asked in a whisper near Bijan's ear so that nobody can listen
