Lashed Out in Subtle Ways

Chapter 12

After we ate, Madi helped me to fix myself in the dressing-slash-makeup room. I only have minimal knowledge about make up since this is one of the things I trained when I was preparing to go in Japan, but I kinda know how to glam myself though.

Hinawi ko ang buhok ko saka tinitigan ang sarili sa malaking salamin sa harap ko. My almond shaped eyes were filled with brown shadows. The crease has more intense brown than the other part of my eyelid making it more elegant. It also has glitters in the my inner eyelid to make it more like a night date. My eyeshadow suits perfectly to my brown hazel eyes and for once, I feel so beautiful and stunning.

Madi fixed my hair from curling the ends of it and keeping all of my hair together for a high ponytail. She put some hair spray too so it would stay to where it is and won't be messed up.

"Ang ganda mo," aniya.

Humalakhak lang ako saka diniretso ang invisible na lukot ng damit ko. I stood up from where I am sitting and look at myself in front of a full body mirror. I smiled as I felt so satisfied with my look.

I am now wearing a silk dress above the knee length showered with glitters and partnered with a black boots that reaches the ankle. Para lang akong pa-party sa bar sa hitsura ko. This dress even had a slit and I feel so sexy now.

"Sabi ko na e', mas maganda ka talaga kapag inayusan." si Madi.

Ngumuso ako. "So, hindi ako maganda kapag hindi nag-aayos?"

She laughed. "Gaga! Your beauty were emphasized because of your make up kasi. Para kang ewan," she said then pout.

Tinawanan ko na lang siya saka naaaliw na umikot-ikot sa harap ng salamin. I glanced at the mirror near the door and pouted when it's already nine forty in the evening. I guess I'm beyond ready to face my so-called customer for our session.

I wetted my lips and head towards the closed door. Madi also followed me as I go to the living area of the place. Hindi ko pa gano'n kakabisado ang lugar pero bukod sa kwarto kong katabi lang ng Dressing Room ay hindi ko na alam kung nasaan na ba ang ibang bahagi ng casa. Masyado itong malaki at kung tutuusin ay mas malaki pa ang Casa Grimaldi pero hindi ko pa rin kabisado ang lahat ng sulok no'n, kaya hindi na nakakapagtaka kung maligaw din ako dito.

Madi went upstairs while I was drinking water to calm myself. Maraming bumabagabag sa isip ko ngayon at mas partikular na ang mga alaalang gusto ko nang kalimutan dahil sa mga karanasan noon. I removed all those thoughts in my head and look straight to my goal.

This is for your family, Calisle. You need this to achieve greater heights. Understand?

I saw Madi walking downstairs and smiled at me when she's already in front of me. Nasa Living Area na kami ng bahay at nakanguso siya sa akin habang tinitignan ako mula ulo hanggang paa. I know that I look stunning right now.

She handed me a viridian sling bag filled with glitters too and could suit to my outfit right now. She really knew well how to make me look elegant although we both have minimal knowledge about glamming ourselves.

"Gamitin mo 'to Cal, para kumpleto ka na." she said.

I smiled. "Thanks,"

Kinuha ko na ang bag na binigay niya saka inilagay doon ang phone at wallet ko. Wala naman akong ibang kailangan kundi ang dalawa lang na 'yon dahil hindi naman ako mahilig magdala ng kung ano-ano.

I subtly shift my body and looked back at her to smile. She still had this twinkle in her eyes while she's looking at me. I want to feel awkward about it but her eyes' look were more of comforting me rather than making me feel raffled. So instead of embracing the negative thoughts skulking in my head, I push all of those to never foster.
