Chapter 46

  Amy's eyes slowly fluttered open to find Bryan's captivating blue ones staring at her.

"Good morning, beautiful" He greeted with a smile, causing her to hide her face on his hard chest. He chuckled at her action and began stroking her hair with his hand.

"I'm sorry I woke up late. You should've left without me" She mumbled into his chest.

"I would've if you weren't holding onto me like a koala" He replied with a chuckle.

"I'm so sorry" She tried to get off his body but he held her in place, preventing her from going anywhere.

"I'm not complaining" He said, playing with her nose.

"Oh my God! Did I drool?" Amy gasped, when she came to the realization that her head was on Bryan's chest all through the night and not on a pillow.

"Yeah. You created a pool on my chest"

Amy felt her cheeks flush from his reply. She felt like the earth should open Its mouth and swallow her this very minute.

"I was only joking" Bryan laughed when he noticed how embarrassed Amy was. He was only teasing her.

Amy playfully hit his chest with her fist, causing Bryan to burst out laughing because her fist felt like that of a child.

"You slept like a beautiful angel" He added, placing a kiss on her head. Amy held him tighter, enjoying the moment.

This is the first time in their six months relationship that she's spending the night with Bryan. After her date with Bryan the previous night, she sent a quick text to her dad, saying that she would be sleeping over at Mandy's place, since she just got back for spring break and quickly called Mandy to cover for her, just in case her dad decided to call.

Amy wanted to spend the night at Bryan's place, since she wouldn't be able to do that on Friday because of her planned meeting with Kyle. She felt pleased with her decision when she saw a twinkle in Bryan's eyes after she told him she would be spending the night with him. For the first time, she was in Bryan's bedroom, on his bed, in his arms as a girlfriend and not some depressed child. The feeling is indescribable as every inch of her is jumping with joy.

"Let's freshen up and have breakfast" Bryan suddenly said, interrupting her thoughts.

"I wanna stay like this a little longer" Amy replied with pouty lips, refusing to let go of Bryan.

"We'll do this more often, I promise"

"You promise?"

"I promise"

"Okay!" Amy cheered, removing her hand from his torso.

"No good morning kiss?" Bryan asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Uh... No" She replied, throwing back the covers, ready to leap out of bed, but Bryan's strong arms found her waist, bringing her to himself.

Amy let out a shriek of delight from the sudden contact.

"I need to go to the bathroom" Amy said, trying to wriggle free.

"I need my morning kiss" There was an amused look on Bryan's face as he watched Amy try to free herself.

"I can't" She mumbled.

"Why?" He enquired. Amy shook her head in reply, covering her face with her hands.

"C'mon beautiful, talk to me" Bryan encouraged, carefully removing her hands from her face.

'This is so embarrassing.' Amy thought to herself.

"Morning breath" She confessed almost inaudibly. Bryan smiled at her cuteness and slowly closed the gap between them.

The kiss was slow and soft, making Amy feel loved. She could only concentrate on how soft he felt against her mouth. Bryan's tongue slowly caressed her lower lip, asking for permission. Amy felt unsure at first, but she reluctantly gave him entrance, straddling him so she was in a more comfortable position. She felt like melting, at the same time her heart was swelling to the point she felt like it was about to burst. Bryan was sending her a message through the kiss, she could tell as he didn't spare any inch of her mouth. It was like they were getting to know each other on a more intimate level.

Bryan pulled away from the kiss after what felt like an eternity. Amy was still intoxicated from the kiss, as she tried to catch her breath.

"You're perfect to me"

Bryan's voice sent shivers down Amy's spine. His words brightened her day, making her feel confident in herself. 'There's no way she can ever stop loving this man' she thought to herself, sending him a shy smile before climbing off his body and leaping out of bed. She ran into the bathroom, locking the door behind her.

  Bryan and Amy had breakfast before leaving the house. Amy asked Bryan to drop her off at Mandy's place, so she could spend some quality time with her best friend.

"Will I be seeing you this weekend?" Bryan asked when the car stopped in front of Mandy's house.

"Maybe" Amy teased with a playful smirk.

"Since you aren't sure, I'll just cancel the dinner plans I already made" He teased back with a poker face, stealing a side glance at Amy to see her reaction.

Amy's eyes went wide with surprise. She had no idea he had something already planned out for the weekend.

"Will I get to sleep over?" She asked, praying he'd say yes.

"I don't know. What do you think?"

"I'll see you on Saturday" She smiled, excitedly placing a kiss on Bryan's cheek but he turned instead so that they were kissing.

Amy smiled into the kiss, cupping his face in her hands. She cherishes the moments when Bryan is the one to make the first move because, that way she is convinced that he is truly in love with her.

"Have a nice day" Bryan whispered after the kiss, taking her hand and kissed her palm.

"You too" Amy replied.

Bryan's chauffeur then opened the car door for Amy. She glanced at Bryan one last time before climbing out of the car.
