"AETHER, IT'S HERE, LOOK-!!!"

Aether paused to let y/n, who was running after him with a box held over her head, catch up.

"What's here?" he asked as y/n stopped beside him and dropped the box.

She practically ripped it open and bent over so she could pull out whatever was inside.

She pulled out a large dark cape and wiggled into it, throwing the hood over her head and beaming at Aether, "Hehe, a gift from Cryo!"

It practically swallowed her whole, only her face visible. Hecking adorable.

Aether frowned, "...Cryo...?"

Y/n paused, "Uh... ah! Right! Cyno! Cyno is my good-good odomu from Sumeru! I reallyyy liked his cloak so he got me one and sent it to me, hehe! It has little jackal ears~! I looked like a jackal mitachurl! Rawr!"

There were indeed a pair of jackal ears on the hood of the cape which y/n lifted an arm to poke with a cheeky grin.

Aether's cheeks were instantly tinted with pink, "It... it looks good on you."

"Tomo!" y/n chirped then dug in the box and picked up a round object made of a translucent material that looked like glass, "Well, I've got work to do, bye-bye!"

"Hey, wait-" Aether began but y/n had already retreated back into the teapot with her prize which Aether didn't get to see.

"Hm? Did y/n go back into the teapot?" Paimon inquired, staring at the teapot curiously while Aether rubbed his head.

"Yep..."

"Wow, she really seems to like the teapot now...! Paimon wonders what she's been up to recently. She seems... oddly focused."

Y/n had indeed been acting strange lately. She would disappear into her room in the teapot very often(which was odd because she almost always slept outside)

She worked from the late hours of the evening to the early hours of the morning.

Aether often found himself lying awake, trying to go to sleep and ignore y/n's screeches for something to calm down or shrieking at the top of her lungs about how she screwed up again.

Whenever he knocked on her door to check on her, everything seemed normal when she answered. However, as soon as he took six steps away, y/n was freaking out again.

Aether couldn't help but be worried because the few times he did see her outside of her room for once, she was practically wrapped head to toe in bandages and looked sleep deprived.

"Let's just go." Aether sighed as he picked up the teapot, "I want to go on a walk."

"Good idea!" Paimon exclaimed then looked at the tea pot, "Hey y/nnnn. We're going on a walk, wanna come?"

No reply.

Then y/n left the teapot with her new favorite cloak wrapped around her, "Yes please."

She grabbed Aether's hand as the teapot was returned to his mysterious inventory, "Okay, let's go."

Paimon snickered at Aether, amused by his flustered expression as he allowed y/n to drag him.

"I've noticed you've been really tired lately. Is everything alright?" Aether murmured.

Y/n blinked then smiled sweetly, "Oh, I'm alright. I've just been working really hard on something!"

"You have?" Paimon inquired.
