As I cleared my head, I remembered—faintly—what my escape used to be. My escape from reality, and this life I'd been given. Music. I learned how to play the piano when I was eight, and just stopped when I got older and took on more and more of the Crowned Princesses responsibilities. But I needed the escape right now. Then I would put on my crown, and pull myself together. But I couldn't do anything. Not if I was broken. I silently padded over to my piano, and started playing. The sound of my piano's music probably drifted through the whole castle, but I didn't particularly care. My piano was right next to the balcony, but I didn't bother to close my doors as I started to sing slowly, as I played an old melody I'd made.
