Note: This chapter is not a continuation of the last chapter and is only a small gift to thank you all for supporting me :>

A big thanks to despair_sauce on Instagram for letting me use their art!

Also I'll be showing some lyrics from the song 'Somewhere over the rainbow' by Leanne & Naara if you want to listen along when the time comes

It was a cold morning...

I was awakened with a shiver down my spine. "What time is it...?" I grumbled as I blindly stretched my left hand, palm coming in contact with the small alarm clock Nagisa gave me as a gift. I held it a few inches from my face as I tried to read the time with my blurry vision. My index finger lazily traced the surface of the object, "The little hand is on four and the big hand is on six" I said to myself slowly as the realisation dawned on me, "IT'S FOUR IN THE MORNING??" I groaned, slipping out of bed.

I hate winter for the sole reason that whenever I go to bed, I always wake up ridiculously early in the morning due to how cold my body gets during the night.

I splashed some freezing water on my face, "T-too cold..." My teeth shuddered. I shook my head and continued getting ready for the day. I slipped on a cosy hoodie and a pair of comfortable Uggs and made my way quietly to the kitchen to not wake the others up.

You see, Nagisa, Kotoko, me and the rest of the Warriors Of Hope decided to live in a small cabin in the woods. It may be small but it's more than enough for us! How did we find the cabin you ask? Well, I can't tell you that just yet, sorry hehe.

I tightened the strings of the apron around my waist and clapped my hands together quietly, "Alright, what can I make today?" I rubbed my palms together gently while I was pondering. After I got some ideas, I gathered the ingredients together and started the preparation.

Time: 6:47 AM

"Good Morning." Nagisa snuck up behind me giving me a scare.

I turned around and frowned, slightly palpitated. "That scared me!" I whined.

He took a whiff of the buffet I had prepared, "Breakfast smells lovely as always." He complimented.

"Yeah! I woke up early and had more time to prepare." Everything was already spread out on the table so I was just sitting by the window and staring at the beautiful scenery of withered plants and leaf-less trees. Yes, I'm being sarcastic but it is pleasant to look at... somehow. The empty landscape is in a way, soothing. It's like observing a blank slate, there's nothing on it and it's up to your imagination to make it colourful and fun right? It's the same here!

I like to imagine that Kotoko and I are secretly plotting a plan to ambush Nagisa with snowballs to his face to try to make the cold winter a little more flavorful or that during the summer while the birds sing and the flowers dance along to their tune, Nagisa sits under one of the trees that provide him shade and gets immersed into a world packed inside the pages of the book he holds in his hand. I would've probably fallen asleep next to him since I wouldn't want to disturb him while he reads. Or maybe I'd read a book too to keep him company... hmm...

"It must've been boring all by yourself," Nagisa dragged a chair from the dining table and sat down next to me. "how long have you been here?"
