"Daddy killed mommy..."

✰✰✰

Addison Cullen sighed as she lugged herself up the stairs feeling like her body was made of heavy stones, her knees felt like jelly as she stood in front of the penthouse door, and with a shaky breath, her knuckles rapped against the door. The past can't hurt you anymore. "Sissy! Right on time!" Alice squealed tossing her arms tightly around her twin's body and Addison practically melted into the embrace breathing in the comforting scent of fresh wildflowers and orange lemon. "I missed you so much..." Alice whispered in her ear before pulling away from the hug, "now come on, we have a lot to go through".

Alice plopped down on her bed careful not to spill the cup of animal blood in her hands as Addison sat down on the white desk chair pulling out her laptop and opening the lid to the several opened tabs. "So the asylum was called Stone County Lunatic Asylum nicknamed Old Stones by the staff for its crumbling facade.  Old Stones was originally constructed between 1862 and 1866 to provide for mentally ill patients at the cost of 65,000, the facility accommodated 220 and in 1912 around 300 patients".

"The asylum grounds was at first only thirty-three acres then expanded to one hundred and forty acres, additions to the original building were made in 1874, 1878, and 1885, including an expanded female wing, and a separate hospital building for patients with infectious diseases".

"After 1892, the asylum was able to take private patients, which basically meant patients fees were paid by their families, or from pensions, and according to this article Old Stones shut down in 2000 for budget reasons and for the horrible abuse and experiments, they did to the patients"... Addison could feel the electricity creeping in and spreading through her temples as she read like storm clouds covering the sun making her arms break out in goosebumps, she wondered if Alice could feel everything she was feeling at the moment. Could she feel the painful surge of electricity? Could she smell the hot burning flesh or was it just her? Addison cleared her throat before continuing to read the article "the last known doctor/director Dr. Stephen Arden died in 2001 from reasons unknown?" She stared at the black and white picture feeling something fizzle and pop inside her mind, how did she know Dr. Stephen Arden?
