May
At this point I am running .
Running as if I am on clouds, but instead I'm running on a paved road, with heals on, not the best idea to be honest, but I don't care because my babies are running to me as well.

"May, May hold up" I hear Ace call he is running behind me, in his defense I ran out of the car while it was still moving and he waited until it was parked like a sane person.

"My babies!" Is the only thing I say, and it's not even directed to my husband whom was talking to me

"Mama!" I hear all my boys say, some louder than others.

Theigo and Roman are running to me quickly, well, as quick as their 5 year old and 3 year old legs can carry them. Nicholas and Oliver on the other hand are wobbling to me while Silas and Vincent hold their hands. I swear, if someone saw these men outside of their work environment, they would think that they are teddy bears. Mateo, well, let's just say that man keeps his demeanor 24/7, and you can tell by the way he is coming to greet us.

"Hello my loves!" I scream once I am met with Theo and Roman's hugs, "mama" they both say, and once I hear that I also feel a bit of wetness on my shirt. Looking down I see that the two have tears coming down their eyes.

"We missed you" I hear Theigo say

"Why did you leave? Why not we go?" Roman adds

"Ma ma ma" I hear the repetition of that one syllable from behind by big boys and see my other 2 babies wobble up to me and eventually wiggle in between their brothers to hug me

"I'm here to you know?" Ace says from behind us all

"Papa" Theo says and switches over to him, Ace maneuvers from behind me to besides me so that we can all be closer, the twins move over to their dad as well a couple of moments later, but Roman stays attached to me

"Hey baby" I whisper to him " I'm here, no need to cry, I'm here" he just pushed his head further into my chest and clutches tighter. I look over to Ace and see that he is watching the scene unfold.

"Hey bud, how are ya" Ace says to him, Roman doesn't respond but just cry's a bit more into my shirt.

"Ro Ro, we are here now, no need to cry anymore"

"Why do you go?" He says again "Why" he says while hiccuping

"Mama and papa went on a trip that was no for kids, sorry bud, but we are here now" I say to him

"Why you gone so long?" He says finally looking up at me, tears stained his tan face and a bit of snot was about to come out of his nose

Luckily for me I had a couple of tissues in my bag and was already in mom mode instead of in wife mode. I quickly clean his face, and being Theo over so I can clean his as well, and now looking down I see Nico and Oli have some sort of stain around their mouths so I wipe theirs as well.

"How did they all have something on their faces?" Ace asked

"I don't know, but let's get inside" and with that everyone starts to move forward, except for Roman, he arms stay planted onto me and so I carry him in while rubbing his back- I'm begging to think he has separation anxiety,

Stella told me how he would cry at night unless he slept with her for a bit- which she was glad to do- or he just cried himself to sleep and then got sad again when I wasn't there in the morning. My poor baby, and when the kids were with Silas for a day, I heard that he was very quiet and didn't participate much during his play date with a group members kid, but she still made an effort the entire time to engage with him, and by the end he was slowly playing with her.

Once we get inside we are met with hugs from Stella and Andrea as well as from Silas,Vincent and Mateo who didn't want to ruin our family moment outside.

When hugging me, Stella looks concerned on why Roman is clutching to me and quietly hiccuping while I rub his back.

I just whisper 'he's just having lots of emotions' and she nods and gives him a soft rub on the back before moving onto her son.

We all sit down and still Roman does not let go is me, Ace asks him to sit on my lap so he can eat and finally he moves a bit.

"Papa, where did you go?" Theo asks once we all start eating

"You mama and I went to Greece"

"Oooo was it pretty?"

"Yes it was, we should go every year" Ace says

"No" Roman says to him "no leave, no leave" and tears start to spill out of his eyes again

"Okay baby, we won't leave you. How about a family trip? Where we all go together Huh?" I say while patting Romans back

"That's a great idea, we can all go together!" Theo yells

"Yes, yes it is. We won't leave you Roman, don't worry" Ace tells him while rubbing our sons back. Roman just shakes his head and begins to eat again.

After dinner everyone leaves the house and I take the boys up to bed along with Ace.

We decided to start with the twins since they already look sleepy and sent Theo and Roman to get into pajamas

After 15 minutes- thank god- the twins fell asleep, I rocked Oliver while Ace rocked Nicolas, and surprisingly they fell asleep around the same time, making it easy to put them both in their cribs and quietly walk out.

Next we chose to go to Theo, we walked to his room and saw his already in bed reading a book, but once he saw us his quickly put it down "mama, papa, why was Roman crying?"

"Your brother missed your mom" Ace said while kneeling next to Theo

"I missed mama too, but I didn't cry"

"I know baby" I say cutting in "but Roman just had some stronger feelings and that's okay"

"The kids at my school say crying is for babies"

"That's true" Ace says "but everyone cry's, no matter what age"

"Your brother just missed me, just like you did, but he was having more trouble, remember that before me, the two of you lived different lives. So no matter what, you will never have the same experiences with different things"

"What happened to Roman before he went with you mama?"

"He just had a different experience, that's all hun. Good night" I tell him and kiss his head

"Good night Theigo" Ace says and pats his hair

"Good night mama, good night papa"

After we leave Theo's room we slowly walk to Romans, when we enter I see nobody, "Roman?" I say "Roman?" Ace say walking into the bathrooms to look for him. "Maybe he's in our room" I tell him when Ace comes out of the restroom with no Roman

"Roman" Ace says when we enter our room, I turn on the lights

"Ro-" I stop mid-word, because in front of me, in our room, is Roman, hands behind his back, tape on his mouth, and a woman right behind him holding a knife
