Danganronpa: Return of Despair

Chapter 2, Part 2

We found the staircase to go up to the second floor and we did. It wasn't very different, but it had more rooms. There was a bigger common area, a workout room, a pool, and a mini arcade. Kaz, Ayu, and Seiko were at the arcade.

"Let's go there after we're done exploring," I suggested.
Shin sighed, "But it looks so fun!"
"We need to check out the other places first," I explained.
"The arcade is a place, we should go," Zenshiro nodded.
"Yeah! Let's go!" Shin smiled.
"No, we're not going yet," I pulled them along, "Other than the arcade, where should we go first?"
"The arcade!" Shin exclaimed.
"NO." I face palmed.
"Why can't we just go to the arcade?" Zenshiro groaned.
"We can go there after, let's check out the pool," I suggested.
"OOH! YEAH! POOL!" Shin exclaimed.
Ayu overheard us and came over, "You guys are going to the pool?"
"Yeah, do you guys wanna come?" I asked.
"I'll come," Ayu nodded.

Seiko and Kaz ran over to us. I think that meant they were all coming.

"We already check out the pool, well me and Kaz did," Seiko explained.
"Yeah, they have swimsuits there already," Kaz nodded.
"Really? Wow!" I was shocked.
"Okay, then, let's go!" Shin ran for the pool.

We all followed him. When we got in there, there was two doors on either side of the room. They were probably the changing rooms. One was blue and one was pink. Shin, Zenshiro, and I went to the blue one, the others went to the pink one. They were right, there were already swimsuits. They were in lockers labeled with our room numbers. I went over to mine, I noticed there was a lock similar to the dorm room locks on it. I used my Mono-Pad to unlock it. There was a swimsuit in there, like they said. It was a pair of swim trunks, they were gold colored with blue and black accents. It kind of looked like my regular outfit. I changed into it and went out to the pool.

I was the first one out there. It was quiet for the first time in what seemed like forever. I sat with my feet dangling over the edge of the pool. They were in the water. It was kind of cold. I sighed. It was nice being this quiet. I waited for the others to come out. I heard noise coming from the girls locker room. I turned over and looked looked. It was Kaz and Ayu. They were fighting as it seemed. They were both in their swimsuits already, I couldn't tell what they were fighting over, but they were shouting. I laughed a little. There goes the nice silence. They looked over and noticed me. I could get a view of what their suits looked like now. They both had two piece suits. Ayu's had thin straps on the sides of both her bottom piece and tøp piece, it was a very bright pink color. She also had water shoes that were the same pink color. Kaz's suit was a strapless black top with matching bottoms, there was a gold ring in the center of her top. I laid down on the floor, the floor was cold. Ayu walked over to me and laid next to me.

"What are you doing?" She looked over to me.
"I'm not sure, I was just waiting for everyone else," I shrugged.
"You can wait in the water, y'know," She giggled.
"Huh? I knew that, I was just waiting," I was confused.
Kaz came over and laid next to us as well, "This is boring,"
"Right?" Ayu sat up and looked over at her.
"I have an idea," Kaz got up and brought Ayu with her.

They were having a small conversation. I sat up and looked over. They were whispering so I couldn't hear them. I sighed. I was kind of nervous, nothing good can come from the two of them. I stood up out of the water. Then they came back over.

"What were you guys talking about?" I asked.
"Do you wanna see?" Ayu asked, smiling.
"Um...not really," I replied.
"Too bad," Kaz picked me up, almost effortlessly.
"WOAH- HEY- WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" I laughed a little while trying to struggle to get down.
"You're gonna go swimming, Mamoru!" Ayu giggled.
"HUH-?!" I was more scared now.

Before I had time to process my thoughts, Kaz threw me into the water. It was the shallow end of the water, but it was still pretty deep for me. I came back up from under the water and found Kaz and Ayu laughing.
