6. save him

the palace of baekje was a chaos.

its been two days since the omega prince dissappeared without a trace. and today the guards found an arrow pierced into the front gates.

the arrow had a paper, with time and place, along with asking for a ransom of 5000 gold coins in return for the omega prince.

"give it and get that whore back here" the old king had commanded to daejung.

its not that he cared about his younger child, kim alphas pride was too big to let the omega go.

taehyung was meant suffer in his hands, not in some bandits.

the child that was born to bring shame to their name, a weakling just like his mother. it was always fun to watch him cry, nothing more satisfying that seeing the weak thing beg for mercy.

daejung had smiled sinister as he ordered people to get things ready.

back in the hut, taehyung was laying on his stomach in the bed. he was watching a small line of ants dissappearing onto a hole, on the floor of the hut.
one of his fingers unconsciously thumbed on the ring at the end of the pendant on his neck.

taehyung found everything fascinating. be it a flower or a butterfly or an ant. now that he got a chance to see a bit more of the world, he is just curious about everything.

in the palace, minsun would come for him when the alphas and guards would be drunk and fast asleep after a feast. she would secretly give him the keys to the palace gardens.

the garden was nothing stunning. there were more weeds than flowers. the steps on its center were cracked and caked with mud, the trees were getting their life sucked out by the parasitic creepers.

but the air there was always fresh and it was soothing.

being a werewolf, they always had attraction towards nature, their inner wolf aching to be get lost in it.

now in the silence and privacy of the gardens, taehyung would shift into his wolf form. his wolf was surprisingly pure white with a patch of cherry pink on its forehead.

taehyung being only able to shift a few times in his life; his wolf was pretty weak. the poor thing would wobble on its four legs trying to get a balance.

even if he fall face first, taehyung would still take steps until he find his strength. then he would spend hours jumping through the bushes or chasing a poor butterfly, white fluffy tail wagging behind with excitement.

when the first rays of sun start appearing, minsun would come back to get him and just like that taehyung would be back in his grey room.

now at present, the prince had quickly sat up on the bed when the alphas came inside the hut. all of them had a satisfied smile on their face.

wordlessly jungkook had came up to him and taehyung had cocked his head, blinking.

the omegas eyes got wide when the alpha took a rope from his belt and looped it around taehyungs wrist.

"w-why what did i do?" he mildly panicked looking at the alpha for an answer.

jungkook just smirked as he took a piece of cloth and forcefully tied it around taehyungs mouth like the first day.

taehyungs scent started souring with uncertainity as jungkook pulled him out of the hut.

"time to go back to your palace, cherry" jungkook had smirked as he covered the prince with his robe.

taehyungs eyes widened. he dont want to go back to that hell again. he knows the alphas their will make his life ten times harder. visions of red eyes, beatings, hunger filled days and the eerie palace walls filled his brain.

incoherent words started stumbling out of the omega as he tried to back away from the horse.

"you weren't scared the first time" jungkooks eyesbrows pinched, as the alpha thought maybe taehyung is afraid of getting on the horse.

the other three alphas were already mounted on the horse. impatient, jungkook forcibly lifted taehyung onto the horse as he himself climbed up.

the black horse neighed as it started forward and silent tears rolled down taehyungs cheeks.

the silence on the outskirts of baekje was disturbed by the multiple neighing of horses and the clatter of metals.

the small pool of guards guided by daejung had arrived on the spot on time.

the four alphas with their faces half covered were standing tall and dominant against them.

"gold first" jungkook had said, more like commanded staring them down.

daejung had kept the eye contact as he jerked his head forward.

a guard had taken a large sack, unceremoniously throwing it to jungkooks feet.

jungkook had kicked it with his boot. the cling of coins and the shine was enough for him know that there was no forgery.

he then turned around and picked the omega off the horse, who was making himself small amidst all the alpha pheromones.

jungkook had pushed him forward, taehyung stumbled forward, now face to face with daejung.

a whimper tore out of his bound mouth at the sight of his brother.

"had fun, omega ?" daejung had his lips curled up as he pulled at the cloth around taehyungs mouth.

just as the cloth was free, taehyung sucked in a ragged breath, cowering on himself.

"had fun whoring around with all those alphas?" the alphas dark voice mocked.

taehyung bit on his bottom lip and shivered.

"Answer Me Bitch" the alpha had backhanded him on the face before taehyung can even blink.

the four alphas who had kidnapped the prince were on the process of boarding onto the horse, when daejungs booming voice reached them.

besides jungkook, yoongi sucked in a breath when he saw blood oozing out of taehyungs busted lip. jungkooks hand curled into a fist at it.

wasn't the omega treated like a goddess in the palace?

daejung had then gripped onto taehyungs hair causing the omega to moan in agony.

"wait till father hear you were spreading your legs for some rogues" the alpha spitted out, laughing sinisterly.

the omega was shaking his head, not at all trying to hide his sobs, as he cried out at the words.

"n-no please. l-let me go" the omega hiccuped out as the alpha forcibly pulled him near a chariot.

"swear i'll 'ever tell a-anyone hyung... p-please lemme go" taehyung sobbed as the hand gripping onto his wrist became painful.

a full on panic overcome his senses when he was pushed onto the chariot.

he cant go back to that hell once more.

he glanced back, and saw that the alphas were still there.

" help...d-dont let 'em take me.. 'lease jungkook" as a last resort, taehyung screamed out, suddenly the sandalwood scent on the robe around him, his only hope.

and something inside jungkook snapped, hearing the omega prince cry out his name.
