"Pair, I'm telling you, she could control water!" Y/n claimed, sitting at the kitchen table, eating some toast as Pair was sat nearby.

Pair beeped, obviously sceptic about the whole idea but Y/n continued. "She looked rather weak, but she easily beat the Crystal Gems, trust me, she could use water." He chuckled, thinking back on that experience, and then remembering how Garnet, and Pearl treated him.

"Oh, Garnet and Pearl started questioning me, like it was a bad thing to free someone that had been locked away in a freaking mirror for how ever long, it was stupid." Y/n grumbled, still peeved off at how they treated him, he wasn't entirely surprised considering they're aliens, but Steven was convinced that the mirror needed to be saved.

Pair beeped, asking about Steven. The small droid has been told a decent amount about the small pudgy boy. "They weren't very happy with him either, he got grounded." He told, feeling somewhat sorry for the poor boy, it wasn't entirely his fault.

Y/n soon finished his food and placed the plate away. He then proceeded to head out the room and up the stairs, walking into the bathroom. After what business he needed to do, Y/n continued the walk up the stairs for a bit of fresh air.

"I could get used to this ..." He laughed, looking at Beach City before turning to look at the ocean.

"What the hell?" Y/n said, seeing more desert than ocean.

Y/n looks down to the beach, seeing the gems talking to the towns people.

"The Ocean!" Steven shouted as he, and the rest of the people on the beach looked at the, now, desert.

"Hey! Its those magical ladies, what's going on here?!" Mayor Dewey shouted into his megaphone as he appeared before the gems.

"The ocean is gone, obviously." Garnet responded simply.

"That's right. Now its just a desert! No one wants to take a vacation to desert city! We're gonna lose all our summer business." The mayor complained into the megaphone.

A few humans complained about their various businesses before the Mayor spoke again. "As Mayor, I DEMAND you explain this immediately." Mayor Dewey said right in Garnet's face, causing her to whack it out of his hands.

"It was Lapis Lazuli." Garnet said.

"Lapis?" Steven questioned, causing Pearl to jump into the conversation.

"She's the gem you ... and that human released from the mirror." Pearl said summoning a projection of Lapis from her gem, but also slightly annoyed at the thought of Y/n.

"But ... she's a gem, like us." Steven pointed out, confused on why gems would be fighting each other.

"There's a lot you don't know about gems, Steven." Pearl quickly responded, stopping the hologram.

The gems were quick to disperse from the congregation of humans, Steven managed to look up to the lighthouse, nodding to Y/n. Y/n nodded, turning around, and heading back down the stairs. He couldn't hear much, but enough to know that lapis was involved, that was thanks to the projection Pearl used, telling Y/n that they were trying to figure out a way to get the ocean back.

"Pair, I need to pack some stuff, the literal ocean is missing." Y/n told, rather calmly as he searched for various supplies, mainly food, and water.

The small drone beeped in worry and surprise, wondering what Y/n is planning to do. "Well, I'm gonna find Lapis, and try to help her, she's scared, and wants to go home." Y/n finished packing what things he could, he didn't pack any weapons as Lapis didn't seem like any threat to him, especially since he freed her.
