"Yeah, I guess we do,"

We both sit in silence, watching the waves crash on the rocks. But it's a peaceful silence. The one where you wish would last forever. The one that tells you something is about to happen. Like a warning.

"We should get going," Heath says breaking the silence. I nod my head and we both quickly gather the items.

"Thank you again for bringing me here," I say with a genuine smile. He nods his head and returns the smile back to me. We both make our way back to his truck before he reverses the car and drives off onto the empty road.

I feel like Heath and I have somewhat got closer from this. He shared a little something about his personal life and I did too. Whatever we said here, will forever be forgotten once we head back.

We arrive at my house and I thank him for driving me home before heading into my warm home.

"Okay spill," Jed says as we decide to take a 10-minute break from the punching. I only have today and tomorrow left to get ready for my fight with Victoria.

"Well, Heath took us to a beach and we just talked," I say simply. I didn't want to spill too much detail. I think what Heath and I talked about last night was definitely private. I trust Heath not to spill the beans or tell anyone else.

"Mmhmm. So you just talked?" Jed asks unamused with my response.

"Yeah, that's what I said," I say with a nod of my head.

"Okay. What did you talk about then?" Jed asked. I think talking about my date would seem very boring to Jed because obviously, I can't tell him what we talked about.

"It's not my place to say. But trust me, we just talked. No PDA or anything," I say reassuring him. Though I think he would've been more than thrilled if I were to tell him that Heath and I made out on the sand and almost did it. But we didn't.

"Fine whatever. Leave your best friend in the dirt then," Jed says pouting.

"I think I will," I reply. "But first, I need my best friend to train me so get your lazy ass up off the bench and into the ring," I say pulling him up.

"Into the ring?" He asks.

"Into the ring," I confirm.

"Okay, but watch out because your about to get Jed-ed," He replies causing me to raise an eyebrow up.

"Jed-ed? You just made that up,"

"I did, but it'll catch on. Eventually. I hope," I shove him playfully and usher him into the ring. Jed and I box each other and it was pretty safe to say that I was actually good at dodging his hits and throwing punches.

"Okay, you only have tomorrow left. Be prepared. And remember what I told you today," Jed says placing an arm around my shoulders.

"Yeah, I know. Let my opponent know that they're about to get Jed-ed. That's not even a thing. They're going to look at me like I'm some crazy psycho lunatic," I reply.
