Chapter 6

Lizzie's POV

After the chat y/n and I had, I started to feel like the worst person I've ever known. Y/n is a great person, I could feel it. It was pretty clear that she trusts me, and its making me feel horrible for not trusting her enough to tell her who I am.

It's not about who I am, but what I do. Because of my job, I've been hurt a lot. The friends I thought were real, used me, all of them. Each one of them used me for different reasons, but most of them for fame. I know y/n wouldn't do that, but I still wasn't sure If I wanted to tell her, if we did meet someday, would she even be okay being in a world like this? The friendship is just beginning, I wouldn't like for it to be over so soon.

At first I was wondering why didn't she googled me, but then I remember I never even told her my last name, that's how scared I am of telling her.

While I was debating in my head, again, about whether I should tell her who I am and what I do or not, I got a message. I was hoping it would be Y/n. I'm always happy to talk to her, so I opened it.

Hey? Who's this?

I'm Alissa. Y/n's sister.

Oh, hi Alissa. Where did you get my number from? Did she give it to you?

Alissa
No. I took it. From my her phone.
I just wanted to have a chat to the mysterious girl my sister never talks about.

She doesn't talk about me?

No. Weird, right? She always pulls the 'mind your business' card.
I just wanted to tell you about her, since she is usually very bad at letting people in, and because she's boring.

Why is that so?

Alissa
Well...
She has no friends (so she makes me go to stuff with her so she doesn't look not cool).
She's always thinking, like she's lost in the moon or something.
When she's bored she just lays down in the floor, looking at the ceiling that has stars stuck on them. I mean- yeah I do that with her too but to think not to get even more boring.

Hahah not that, I was talking about the not letting people in part. She sounded like a very open person, to me.

Alissa
Oh, well, she has gone through a lot of shit in the past 2 years. Our mom died when she was about to graduate from high school.

What about your father?
She told me he also died.

Alissa
I mean, he is dead, for her. She never talks about him, after what he did to her, I never really met him tho. She had to basically raise me, all by herself, while working two to three jobs everyday to buy food and pay rent, therefore she didn't even have the time or the money to finish college.

I am so sorry you both had to go through so much. I would never have
guessed all that.

Alissa
Yeah, but it's all better now.
We have managed to find a really nice apartment. I take online school, and she has a really nice job, I wouldn't say she's better, but I think she's ok.

deserve so much better.

Alissa
Yeah, but it's ok. Our lives might be shitty but at least it made us stronger.

But back to talking shit about y/n...

The last person she dated broke up with her because she thought she was 'too depressed' for her, fucking bitch. I never liked her anyways.

That's kind of sad tho.

I guess it is...
She loves the Vampire Diaries 'cause of the plot, and by the plot, I mean the actors.
Oh, and did she tell you she doesn't like Marvel? Like- who doesn't like Marvel?

No, it's so annoying. She has never watched a Marvel movie, In her entire life. I always tell her to do it with me but she says she does not like it...

Are you kidding me? I love Marvel. That's why I brought it up.
Please tell me you like them too, 'cause I was really starting to like you.

Yours and y/n's. I like you for her. But just to warn you, she snores really loud at night.

Alissa
Yeah, sure. Whatever you say.
I have to go, y/n is calling me.
It was nice getting to know you, although I just talked shit about y/n the whole time haha, but it was still nice.

The only thing that got stuck in my head other than the fact that she has never seen any marvel movie, was why would Alissa think I would date y/n? Does y/n like me? Maybe she was just joking, and I'm overthinking this. I would never date y/n, she's my friend, I don't like her that way. Plus, I have a boyfriend.

Third person's POV

"ALISSA, COME HERE." Y/n yells. Still in the shower. Alissa runs to the bathroom, by the sound of Y/n's voice, she got worried that something happened to her sister. When she opens the door to the bathroom, she sees that y/n was still inside the shower. "What happened?" Alissa asks concerned. "Oh, nothing. I just forgot my towel in my room. Can you please get it for me?" Y/n said sticking her head out of the shower, covering her body with the curtain. "Shit, y/n. You scared me." Alissa puts her right hand on her chest, in relieve. She goes back to y/n's room, grabs her her towel, and walks back to the bathroom. Alissa gets closer to the shower, and gives y/n her towel. "Thanks, Alissa."

No more than 10 minutes passed and Alissa and y/n were both already in their rooms, getting ready to go to sleep.
