_______________🌺
You tossed over in your sleep, shaking Teldryn awake as he lays next to you helplessly, he didn't want to move in fear of waking you up, so he layed silently, watching, listening and protecting.
You've hadn't had much sleep these past few nights, stress and anxiety building up inside of you as you explored Skyrim freely. There was so much to do in such little time, the war, dragons, cultists, defeating miraak, helping those in need, everything was gaining up on you and making you extremely tired and weak. These past few nights have been rough for both Teldryn and you, Teldryn would stay up for hours in hope of seeing you sleep peacefully- but been unsuccessful. Until tonight.. finally after a week of nonstop stress, Teldryn has successfully been able to get you to fall asleep, as peacefully as he could in these dangerous times.
He's glad that you finally get the sleep you so desperately deserve, Teldryn hoped each night leading up to this point that you'll get a nice slumber, and as if the world finally listened to him- it happens. Teldryn can rest easy for the night.
Teldryn didn't have to stay up for you, Teldryn didn't have to put up with you and this lack of sleep you've had troubles handling, but he loves you and because of that reason he's losing his own sleep as sacrifice - he wants to see you sleep well, he wants to see you hold a soft look again.... not this tired, upset, frustrated look.. it hurts him too much to see those horrible expressions on the love of his life.
Teldryn never acts soft around anybody, apart from you. You make him soft, Teldryn has always had this tough look due to his choice in career but the more you get to know him, that isn't the case- it was clear since the beginning that Teldryn is a pure soul and that's what made you fall so heavily for him. But of course nobody knows Teldryn like you do, so no one can argue with this.
Teldryn looks down at you, sighing in defeat. He was beyond tired at this point, especially after the last adventure you both had gone on not too long ago, it was tough- barely made it out with your lives due to how much draugr were in the tomb, how powerful they were... far too many. Teldryn though, saved your life multiple times that day- and honestly, it was the first time he has ever seen you cry- want a backstory on what happened? I'll explain to you.
Teldryn and you just got done with a little side guest from someone in Riften, you both being filled with passion and excitement, ready for the next "mission" together. You decided to explore the Riften area with Teldryn before going off to do something else, you rarely had time for yourself so you took this time out of your hands to have fun and explore with your best friend.
Both Teldryn and you made your way to Black-Briar Lodge, where you both were not too long ago- having to steal a horse for someone who you didn't exactly like. But anyway you both continue to walk forward and making your way to Broken Helm Hollow, which fortunately enough was cleared from bandits.
Not seeing a point of sticking around you continued to walk and eventually came across a place you haven't discovered before, it was pure accidental. And this place was called Forelhost, this place you'll never visit again unless absolutely necessary - you can't bring yourself to go back unless it's an emergency or for some sort of importance. If not, you'll outright refuse to go back
But at this time discovering Forelhost, you didn't know what you'll be getting yourself into, you didn't know what would be affecting you and your life today, you didn't know the wild emotions you'll soon be feeling once you step inside.
Upon walking up the mountain and a few steps you soon saw a male, who at this distance seemed to be a stormcloak, judging by his outfit - at this time you haven't picked a side of the war yet, you're still deciding which side to join, which side deserves to win and rule Skyrim. You've been thinking about joining the imperials but at the same time you thought about joining the stormcloaks, for Sofia's sake...
