I feel like JB is that type of guy who looks really tough on the surface but in reality is a soft boi who just wants to tell you that he loves you more than anything in the world. 'Vaaste' is the song he had heard in a wedding you took him to. You were singing this song with your brother for your older sister who had just gotten married. He didn't know the meaning of the song but he knew it meant that you loved your sister. A few months later, he found the song and looked up the lyrics. He found out that he was right and also that the song really tells how he feels towards you.
He would sing the song after a date on the beach. When the candles would be lit and the wine bottle would be opened. He brought his guitar with him to the beach and now that the time is right, he would sing this song to you and say "Y/N main aapse bahut pyaar karta hu" (Y/N I love you very much) at the end. That will, of course, leave you SHOOK.......Plus he's got that deep note like Nikhil D'Souza...

He saw that you were listening to this song "Toota Jo Kabhi Tara" on loop once and had taken a photo of it through his phone. He didn't know anything about Hindi back then. So, he had to google the translation of the lyrics. After doing that, he found out that this song was actually about your relationship. You two had wished for each other and now you won't let go of each other.
