THIRD PERSON
Harry waltzed through the Gryffindor common room with his quidditch practicing outfit on, stopping as he saw Ron seated on the sofa alone. It was a Friday afternoon and he had been looking for Y/N for almost hours.

"Have you spotted Y/N lately?" Harry questioned Ron in hopes of a yes.

"Having trouble locating your new girlfriend?" Ron scowled with envy, "I'm sure she's by the lake with Hermione." He continued irritatedly.

"Okay, why are you being such a priss?" Harry stomped closer to the sofa to be a bit closer to Ron.

The redhead looked up at him and handed him the school newspaper that was laying beside him. Harry read over it watching the picture of him and Y/N on the front cover.

"Why did you do it?" Ron stood up.

"Because I wanted to protect her. I'm
sure if Colin were to put anything about what happened after her talk with Snape the other morning, everyone attending Hogwarts would fear Y/N." Harry explained and Ron crossed his arms after letting out a dramatic scoff, "What?" Harry sighed.

"You're bloody selfish that's what. You didn't do that for her you did it for yourself. You want everyone to believe she's yours when she isn't." Ron stepped closer to him with a curled lip.

"Well she isn't yours either." Harry challenged with his hand balling into a fist.

"At least I didn't claim her in front of the entire school. I hope she's just as upset as I am." Ron snatched the paper from Harry and proceeded out of the common room.

Harry grunted and followed him. Not because he wanted to but because practice was that way. "Stop following me." Ron sassed from in front of Harry.

"I'm not following you, this is the way to quidditch practice you filthy scum." Harry responded angrily. Ron stopped in his tracks only for Harry to pass by.

"Did you just call me-"

Harry whipped around to face Ron, "A filthy scum? Yes I did. I will not hesitate to insult someone who bellows at me for something as ridiculous as The Daily Prophet." He argued and proceeded to stomp away.

"So you won't have anywhere to go this Christmas?" Draco spoke calmly before sitting down by Y/N in the snow as she sat alone and watched the lake's water flow under the ice.

Her blanket she brought out with her protected their clothes from getting wet and cold. She turned to him, "I overheard." He clarified.

"Yeah." Was all she responded.

She wasn't really in the mood to speak and she knew if anyone seen her and Draco she and Harry wouldn't get along for a while.

They sat in silence listening to the wind and watching the snow start to fall.

Draco grabbed her hand and slid a ring onto her index finger. She looked at him with narrowed eyebrows as he stood up and offered her his hand.

"I have to get to quidditch practice but.. keep the ring. It's my good luck charm. I had it on when we first met.. well you were with Potter but.. you know. Uhh.." Draco stood in confusion, "I hope your holidays are.. swell?"

He looked off into the distance before turning to her again, "Am I supposed to embrace you now?" He questioned with a weird look.

Y/N playfully rolled her eyes and pushed him away. He made his way back towards the castle leaving Y/N to look at her finger for a few seconds.

"Harry's going to go completely bonkers when he sees you with that." Ron approached her with the newspaper rolled up in his hand.

"Probably.." She responded in agreement. Ron sat down beside her, taking over Draco's original position. He leaned forward to see her face and smiled softly.

"Are you alright?" Ron questioned in concern. Her eyes began to water due to his question.

"I just.. I found out that Snape is my father." She whispered and Ron's expression completely changed as if he were horrified by her words.

"WHAT?" He screeched with fear.

"Nah, im joking." She wiped her tear away and and started smiling, feeling accomplished.

"Bloody hell, don't ever do something like that again. I nearly cried for you." Ron exclaimed with a relieved sigh.

She gave him a small grin before he got a bit closer, "That reminds me I have something I want to tell you."

"Mm mm." Y/N shook her head after putting her lips in a straight line.

He looked at her with a raised brow, "Oh come on Ron! I know what you're about to say and no. You don't actually like me you fancy Hermione." Y/N chuckled and grabbed his hand. His face scrunched up as if she were wrong.

"Hermione?" He raised his voice, "Is that supposed to be some odd and twisted joke you've planned out in your head?" Ron began to get defensive.

He stood up, accidentally leaving the paper behind. His face softened as if he wanted to laugh, "I-I'm gonna go talk to.."

"Hermione." They said at the same time and giggled after as he walked away.

"Hey." Y/N spoke to Harry slightly stretching out the word as she met him by the field after his practice.

He glanced over at her and smiled. His hair was a mess and his face was a bit pale. He jogged up to her immediately.

"Hi!" He shouted enthusiastically and opened his arms for a hug.

Y/N shook her head and connected a few fingers to his chest to push him away.

"I don't suppose you're scared of a little sweat, are you?" He challenged and dropped his arms back to his side.

'How do you even sweat in this weather?' Y/N asked herself. She laughed at him joyfully but his expression changed as he saw the familiar newspaper in her palm.

"I swear that i'm wildly sorry about that. I just assumed it would be better than you know.. something bad." He explained.

"It's fine don't be sorry." Y/N accepted his apology, "I personally don't really mind that much." She mumbled to herself. Harry smirked and lifted her head with his finger.

"What was that?" He voiced with confidence only for Y/N to smack his hand away humorously.

"Are you not going to shower?" George spotted Harry from a few steps away. He tilted his head a little resulting in Fred to do the same. They smiled at each other after noticing Y/N standing there.

"She could join you if you'd like!" Fred shouted cheerfully receiving a chuckle from George.

"Yeah! We won't tell." George continued on Fred's statement causing Harry to turn around and start to chase them.

Fred and George ran away giggling but Harry stopped and turned to Y/N to say one final thing.

"Meet me in the common room?" He insisted and nodded in response. Harry continued to chase the twins while Y/N went back into the castle.
