The journey to the Ministry itself, and then towards the Department of Mysteries was a silent, tense one. Nobody dared say anything than what they had to, and even then their words were whispers at best. The Ministry was totally silent but had there been someone else lurking, waiting to ambush them, they wanted to go as long as possible before being discovered.

When they finally made it to the Department of Mysteries, they stood in a circular room, doors surrounding them. They all turned to Harry. "Which way?" Hermione asked, her voice little more than a whisper. Harry paused.

"I'm not sure," he admitted. "Let's start checking the doors, I'll know it when I see it."

Hermione nodded and inched forward to a door, which opened with a click. Inside were several planets, all suspended in the air with a strange sort of mist surrounding them. Harry shook his head and Hermione shut the door, pushing Harry back with one hand, and marking the door with a giant, flaming x.

They tried five more doors. One was completely sealed- even the magic knife Harry had received from Sirius failed, and was destroyed in the process of trying. The rest lead to what Harry claimed were dead ends, each of them containing something more strange than the last.

Finally, Harry beckoned them through a doorway that lead into a room with a stone arch. Kendra felt a strange, faint sadness looking at it, and she had an urge to put her hand inside of it. Harry and Luna said they heard voices, and saw a veil inside the stone archway. Hermione had to pull all of them away from the room with the reminder that they were there to save Sirius.

They went through three more rooms until they finally opened a door to a dark room, the only light the faint one coming from the thousands of crystal balls lining the shelves- prophecies. They all lit their wands with muttered spells.

"This way," Harry instructed quietly, counting the rows of the prophecies under his breath. They moved quietly, all on edge and ready for an attack. Kendra was desperately trying to calm her breathing; terrified was an understatement. Harry beckoned them down a row. "He should be here."

They moved silently down the hall.

"He's not here," Hermione realized, her eyes wide. Kendra swallowed thickly- it did not matter why Sirius was not there, the answer was bad news either way.

"He should be here," Harry insisted.

"Harry," Neville called quietly. Harry pushed towards Neville. "It's got your name on it."

Harry stared at the prophecy for a moment. "Don't you dare pick it up, Harry," Kendra whispered, though she couldn't manage her voice to go loud enough for him to hear her. If he did hear her, he ignored her, as his fingers wrapped around the prophecy and picked it up from the shelf.

"Very good, Potter. Now, give it to me." They turned around to see none other than a man who could only be Lucius Malfoy, accompanied by several other Death Eaters. Kendra's breath hitched and Hermione grabbed Kendra protectively, pushing the blonde behind her back. Kendra used her free hand to grasp Hermione's like it was her own lifeline.

"Where's Sirius?" Harry asked. Kendra, had she not been terrified into an almost statuesque form, would have reached over and hit him upside the head. Sirius was gone- if he had ever been there in the first place. The bait had worked perfectly, and now, they were all trapped.

"Where's Sirius?" The woman next to Lucius Malfoy mocked, cackling. "Did itty bitty baby Potter wake up from a nightmare and think it was real?"

Kendra wished she had the gall to absolutely tear into the woman. No one was allowed to insult Harry but her.

"Now, now, Bella, play nicely," Lucius warned, and Kendra realized that the woman must be Bellatrix Lestrange. The urge to rip her apart resurfaced instantly. "Now, Potter, all you have to do is hand over the prophecy to me, and none of your little friends will get hurt."

"Why is it so special to Voldemort, I mean..." Harry began.

"When Harry says run, stay with me," Hermione whispered in her ear, drowning out the conversation. She nodded instantly.

'Kendra, do you trust me?' Morgana asked, and all of a sudden, they were standing in the same field that Kendra had been in when she had first spoken with Morgana.

"What did you do?" Kendra asked, panicked. "I'm not asleep am I?"

"I've shifted our conversation to your subconscious mind, it will take seconds at most, and your body will continue to operate as normal until we return," Morgana said. Her deep eyes stared into Kendra's and it was almost as if she was staring straight into Kendra's soul. "Do you remember my warning?"

Kendra nodded slowly. "You said something about worse to come- is that now?"

"You must trust me, Kendra," Morgana said, her smooth voice still seemingly calm and unperturbed.

"I guess," Kendra said, uneasy of what Morgana would ask her to do.

"There are several events this evening that are unchanging. No matter what choices are made now, the outcome will be the same, Lord Voldemort's return will be made public by tomorrow," Morgana said, her tone grim now. "But the choice you make when you are told to run has drastic impacts on several situations. You cannot stay with Hermione Granger when Harry Potter tells you to run."

"What?" Kendra asked, alarmed.

"You must trust me Kendra, if you stay with Hermione, your death is almost guaranteed. It will be easy to separate from her, once you have, hide from the Death Eaters," Morgana's eyes were sharp as she stared down at Kendra.

"When will I know it's safe to come out?" Kendra asked, and Morgana's eyes softened. She paused for a moment.

"I will tell you," she said, her voice catching on the last word so slightly that Kendra could have sworn she imagined it. "Now, you will only have a few seconds to reorient yourself and run when I return you to your consciousness."

"I'm ready," Kendra said. She found her eyes closing and when they opened, they had formed an circle around herself and Ginny. She made eye contact with the ginger and gave her as much goodwill as she could.

"You know what, I don't think I will," Harry said, and Kendra primed herself to sprint. "RUN!"

And Kendra took off as fast as she possibly could, ignoring the screams from her body, the shattered glass of prophecies, and the spells being shot around her.
