Chapter 11

"NANDINI/ NANHI!!" 

CRASH!

Nandini stared numbly at the spot she was dancing in not even a minute ago.

"Nanhi...princess, tu thik toh hai na?" Ravi, who had pushed Nandini out of harms way just in time was now frantically checking her to make sure she was ok. "Lagi toh nahi na kahi pe?"

"Meri bachi.." Kavita bent down and held Nandini close to her while everyone else was asking if she was ok. Nandini of course was frozen in her spot and hadnt responded. During all this, Abhi glanced up and noticed the figure wearing a black hoodie.

"Hey! Gaurds!" Abhi called out, pointing to the person. "Pakro usse!"

Hearing Abhi, everyone looked up in time to see the person run away. Quickly, Abhi, Cabir & Dhruv chased after the hooded figure with the guards.

"Nandini?" Manik came back at that moment and looked at the fallen chandelier. "Yahan kya hua?"

"Manik!" Nandini ran upto Manik and hugged him crying. "Manik..woh...the chandelier..it just...maine nahi dekha."

"Kya bol rahi ho Nandini, kya hua hai?" Manik asked gently as he consoled her. 

"Manik, kisi ne Nanhi ke upar chandelier girane ki koshish ki." Rishabh said.

"Haan tumhare dost uske piche gaye abhi." Lavanya added.

"What?!" Manik yelled angrily. "How the hell did this happen? Kaisa security hai yaha? Inn logon ko toh main-"

Nandini tightened her hold on Manik, still shivering in fear. Nyonika noticed and carassed her head.

"Manik...Nandini darr gayi hai. Tu iske saath reh...security se hum baat karlenge." 

"Yeah Mom." Manik agreed. He kissed the top of Nandini's head reassuringly "Shh...Jaan sab thik hai, you're ok...kuch nahi hua...sab thik hai."

"Manik...Tum ek kaam karo Nanhi ko villa pe vapas le jao." Lavanya suggested.

"Haan...hum bhi chalte hai." Ankita said.

"Nahi..tumhari mehendi hai. Tum sab yahi rukho, main Nandini ko leke jaata hoon."

"Par bhai...bhabhi ke saath jo hua uske baad how can we-"

"Pls..." Nandnini spoke up, "Mujhe bilkul acha nahi lagega agar meri vajah se mehendi beech mein rukh gayi toh."

"Di are you sure?"

"Haan, main thik hoon. Manik hai na mere saath." Nandini looked to Manik. "Par Manik...mujhe bhi villa vapas nahi jaana."

"Lekin Nandini..." 

"Abhi..." Mukti called out seeing her husband return. "Did you catch him? Kaun tha?"

"No...bhaag gaya." Abhi replied frustrated.

"Building ke bahar jaate hi paata nahi kaha gayab ho gaya." Cabir said, "We looked everywhere."

"Guards toh abhi bhi dundh rahe hai." Dhruv said.

"Dont worry Manik, maine security se baat kar liya hai...jo aaj hua Babydoll ke saath woh phirse nahi hoga." Abhi told Manik.

"Tum dono villa vapas jaa rahe ho kya?" Cabir asked seeing that Manik & Nandini looked like they were leaving.

"Haan woh Nandini darr gayi hai toh..."

"Tu darr gaya hoga..." Cabir swung his arm over Nandini and pulled her away from Manik. "Humari Nandini ki dictionary mein darr naam ki koi cheez hi nahi hai...kyun behna darr gayi ho kya?"
