WHEN IT RAINS...

It was a rainy afternoon. Divya was trying to do her recent project as Charu was taking a nap. Having a little baby around when you work was not easy. Once she mailed her design to the client, Divya turned on the TV and randomly went through the channels.

Famous business tycoon Rajesh Shetty's daughter Rashi Shetty and the young techie in the town Siddharth Krishnan have been spotted together today at Leela Palace. If rumors are to be believed, they are dating.

Divya's eyes widened seeing the news. They also showed a picture of Siddharth and Rashi coming out of the hotel.

These media people have no shame...

Divya muttered to herself and quickly turned off the television. Her memory went back one month before when she met Rashi at the restaurant on their anniversary. Siddharth and Rashi are aquatinted as they attended an event together. That's what Siddharth told her that day. 

But why would they be together in Leela today? 

Divya felt uneasy thinking about all those stupid thoughts.

She could see their life changed so much in these years. Siddharth was no longer that poor guy who worked for her family. He became a businessman. He got his name and fame. But can people change along with their new lifestyle? In Siddharth's case, it was Yes and No. Siddharth enjoyed his new identity. Of course, he earned it. But sometimes Divya could see him forgetting their old times as he was completely adapting to a new lifestyle. It felt he didn't like their old life anymore. But at the same time, he cared about her and their little princess, looked at her with the same amount of love in his eyes, spent time with her as much as he could. But she was sure that something was definitely missing. On top of that, Siddharth was acting strangely these days and didn't come home last night. What if this news is true? Is Siddharth having affair?Divya's heart sank at that thought. She mentally slapped herself for thinking too low about her husband. Suddenly she wanted to see him, wanted to talk to him. Divya quickly dialed his number but it was unreachable.the rain became heavier, so as Divya's mind. It was past 11 in the night. Siddharth wasn't home yet and no news about him as well. Nobody from his office knew about his whereabouts. His PA said he left the office as soon as he reached there in the morning.Charu wasn't sleeping. She was scared of the thunder and lightning. Divya hugged her closer and tried to sleep. Somewhere around midnight, Divya heard a feeble knock. She parted away from Charu and went to open the door. Siddharth...Divya gasped seeing him, all drenched and disheveled state. On top of it, a strong smell of alcohol spread around.

Div...yaaa....

Siddharth called her name while trying to balance himself.

What the hell is this?

Divya fumed. Her eyes welled up.

Siddharth hugged her suddenly while Divya stood numb without knowing how to react.

Divya... We need to talk...

Siddharth said without looking into her. She saw guilt in his face. And it was replaced with fear when her eyes met with his.

Divya's heart started racing. She had a guess on what he was going to say. She knew her life was going to change at that moment. Divya clutched his shirt as both of them stood in rain. It was still raining...
