Sabo x reader. wonderful world.

There is a legend that says, 'until you find your true soul mate, the world will be forever dark.' And for ______ this statement was far too true.

The sun in her world, shone about as bright as a dying match flame. Her night time, plunged her into a blinding darkness. And all the vibrant colours of the world, were dim. As if they had been fading for a thousand years.

And here on the isle of Dresrossa, this was a severe handicap. This island was supposed to be beautiful, and bursting with colour. The island of love and toys.

It is also said, that you'll know when you find your soul mate, as their colour will shine brighter then anyone else's...

Which is a good thing, because if ______ where to find them now, she would most likely lose them in this thick crowed...

Sighing to herself, she climbed up onto some stacked boxes, and watched as many people passed by. She slid backward, leaned against a wall, and closed her eyes.

As ______ relaxed for the first time in... God knows how long, she couldn't help but listen in on a conversation.

"Koala... I'm sick of this..." A voice stated. "Sick of what?" The other replied. The person's name was Koala? "Not being able to see everything the way you do... I wanna be able to see all the beauties in the world..." The first voice mumbled.

'Yeah, I feel for ya buddy...' _____ thought to herself. Her eyes opened a crack to pin-point the person's of interest. When suddenly, her eyes landed upon something... amazing!

There, only a few feet away, stood a man. Clad in vibrant blues. His colour out-shone everyone else here. A navy blue top hat sat upon his head, a royal blue, swallow-tail coat upon his back. That's all ______ could see, as his back was to her.

Without hesitation, she leaped from the crates and shoved her way through the crowed and made her way over to him.

"Excuse me!" She called over the bustling crowed, as she stood behind the man. He turned to face her, and his jaw nearly dropped.

The girl, Koala was it? Chuckled in understanding, and left to give the two privacy.

All other sounds seem to drown out as the two stared at one another. Taking in the bright colours of each others clothes, the entranced glitter in the others eyes.

______ jumped as the man cleared his throat. "Um... nice to meet you... I'm Sabo." He muttered sheepishly, extending a hand. "I'm ______" the girl replied, reaching for his hand. As the two's hands connected, an explosion of colour hit they're eyes.

Dresrossa seemed to combust into vibrant pinks,greens,yellows,blues,purples. Every colour burst right before them.

They kept their hands connected as they stared with wide eyes at the seemingly new world before them. _______ had to shield her eyes from the glare of the blazing sun.

When their attention turned back to one another, Sabo smiled.

"I believe we have talking to do." He stated with a big grin. ______ couldn't help but blush and nod. She couldn't believe how lucky she was ! This man was cute, kind and sweet. In her mind, she hit the jackpot.

Sabo took ______'s hand as he led her somewhere to chat and learn about one another.

A place where they could find out more of the other. About the the person they were fated to spend the rest of their colourful life's with.

It truly is, a wonderful world.
