In the beginning, everyone's commenting about them only being 8 and only in second grade and how they act. Well, like I told someone else I barely remember being that age. I wrote the way they act based on how I've seen kids around that age of this generation act.
Also, when they' are talking about homecoming in like the first few chapters, during that conversation it says "Homecoming FOR the HIGH SCHOOL" I even make sure to write that her friends also have siblings IN HIGH SCHOOL to back up why they would be going to a high school event. Nowhere does it say second graders are having a homecoming football game.
So please read and understand what you are reading.
(I am currently rewriting this as of 2023 so a lot will be changing in this story bc it is so bad, I can't even start to explain. But thank you for all of the love and support this book has received.)
