Jhené never felt accepted. Whether it was insulting from her mum for being quirkless or it was from the public for having heterochromia eyes/blue eyes, she felt like she wasn't accepted anywhere. It started getting worse when her father disappeared and her mum started blaming her for it.
Not only that her mother started drinking and doing any kind of drug imaginable. Jhené's only comfort was her siblings, the twins. They always protected her from their mother's beatings and insults when they were home and were always there to console her when she felt worthless. It's because of them that she still believed that she had a purpose on this earth. When she was 11, she came home to see them packing their bags and asked them what they were doing...

I came home from another day of being bullied at school for being quirkless, having no father, and having heterochromia eyes. I just don't get them can't they go pick on someone else for a change what's their obsession with making me feel worthless, but Paige said that I shouldn't let it get to me and Pierre said it's just cuz their jealous of me, I mean I am pretty smart with an IQ of 110 and I'm 11 so I'd say pretty smart.
Anyway speaking of Paige and Pierre I hope they're home cuz I don't really want to deal with that witch today. I unlocked the door to our little house and immediately noticed the bags and suitcases at the door, I walked away thinking mum was finally going away but boy was I wrong. I went to Pierre's room cuz I always come to him when I ain't feelin the best ya'know and I saw him packing clothes. I was frozen at the door, Paige came in and said something, but she spotted me.
