The smile you so loved

Safe in our Father’s loving arms
Now, I’m ready to loosen my grip
On your hand I held for so long

For a couple of years
I’ve stayed miserable
Seeing me like that
Had certainly hurt you
I know you are relieved
I’ve made this decision
