Finally getting those casts off felt amazing I feel so much lighter this will also make it way easier to do what I've been planning to do for a while now it's almost Prom and I've been wanting to do something special to ask Miles out to prom it won't be so special but it will be fun,

I drove up to his house honking and he came out frowning.

"Hop on"
I said he looked at me confusedly.

"Where are we going?"
He asked and I shrugged.

"It's a surprise"
He grinned getting on the bike and wrapping his arms around my torso as I drove off to the field, it was 8 pm so it's dark and the field is locked but I asked the coach for the key so I can "practice" and he gave me it.

"What are we doing here?"
He asked holding my hand as I pulled out a flashlight.

"It's so dark"
He added when I didn't answer, we walked in the dark field while he was clinging to my arm.

"Don't be scared"
I said chuckling.

"How can I not be?"
He asked making me laugh.

"What is this?"
He asked picking something he kicked up.

"A ball?"
I asked.

I shined my flashlight on it and he started reading what's written on the ball,

'Look At The Scoreboard'

I sent the text on the group chat within seconds the scoreboard lit up,

'PROM?'

He turned and looked at me with wide eyes,

"You did not do all of this just to ask me that"
He said amusedly and I chuckled.

"Will you go to prom with me?"
I asked and he laughed.

"Of course I will"
He said throwing his arms around me.

"You better be grateful this shit took us hours to figure it out"
Nia said coming in the field pointing at the scoreboard.

"Right"
Zodiac said dusting off their pants jumping down.

"Uh, Zodiac?"
Miles said and I grinned at the second surprise.

"What?"
They asked and Miles pointed behind them, they turned around to see a nervous Matthew holding an 'R4D2 is red R2D2 Is blue I may not be emperor Palpatine but I want to take over prom with you' sign, their hand flew to their mouth, they have an unhealthy obsession with star wars.

"Fuck yeah!"
They said crashing their lips against his.

"Imagine getting asked out to prom with a star wars sign"
Nia said making Miles roll his eyes.

"You asked your girlfriend out with literally a sticky note doesn't talk"
I said and she scoffed.

"I go straight to the point instead of doing ALL of this"
She said making Miles laugh.
