Greg, Steven, and Y/n sat in the back of Greg's van while the older man played a song on his guitar.
It soon ended with Y/n, and Steven cheering. "That sounded great!" Steven told.
"Yeah, it was pretty good!" Y/n smiled.
"Oh thanks! I'm thinking of calling it 'water witch'." Greg responded as he set down his guitar.
"Cool!" Steven cheered as Y/n nodded in agreement, obviously it was a reference to Lapis.
"And check this out, I can add some vocal distortion too." Greg started as he pulled down a microphone from the ceiling of the van, adjusts a control panel and speaks into the microphone, distorting his voice into a robotic one.
Steven chuckled, but Y/n spoke first. "Where's all this energy coming from? You've never really been this energetic before." Y/n chuckled as Greg set aside the microphone.
"Actually, I was inspired to write more songs after the whole ocean getting sucked up into space ... I even drew an album cover!" Greg smiled as he pulled out his drawing book and showed the cover to Y/n, and Steven.
"It looks like ..." Y/n started.
"Lapis Lazuli ..." Steven finished.
"Woah easy with the tender touches ..." Greg told as he pulled the album cover away, and handed Steven an electric guitar. "Here, plug this up and lets jam!"
"Yeah! Lets jam!" Steven exclaimed as he strummed on the guitar, but no sound emitted from the instrument.
Y/n laughed. "Look, you pulled it in the wrong slot ... here." Y/n told as he switch round the plug from the Video to the audio slot.
Steven smiled and started to stum a nice tune. "She was trapped in a mirror, and it couldn't be clearer. She wanted to leave this place, and get herself back in space. And dad you might think she's a criminal, but her friendship comes through subliminal." He sung with Greg, and Y/n looking on in surprise.
Steven continued.
"Lapis Lazuli! You fled into the bottom of the sea! Lapis Lazuli~ You were so mad but then you came around to me!" Steven finished the song, receiving applause from both Greg, and Y/n.
"Wow schtu-ball! That sounded incredible!" Greg complimented.
"Yeah, definitely remined me of Lapis." Y/n smiled.
"Heh, thanks." Steven said, smiling widely.
The congratulations was cut short as a loud, deafening sound pieced the air, it sounded like it was coming from the temple.
"What the heck is that?!" Steven shouted over the noise.
"It must be coming from the temple!" Y/n pointed as he stood up, gesturing for the two humans to follow him.
The three humans covered their ears as they walked up the stairs, and into the beach house.
"What's happening?!" Steven shouted as he kept his ears covered.
"It's the wailing stone!" Pearl told.
"Make it stop!" Amethyst whined.
Garnet sets the Wailing Stone on the floor. She summons her gauntlet and slams the button at the top of the stone, momentarily stopping the noise. As soon as she lifts up her gauntlet, the noise returns, and everyone continues to whine.
"Stand back!" Pearl said as she approached the wailing stone.
Pearl attempted to bubble the stone. "There. Now we can-" Pearl was interrupted as the bubble popped, causing the noise to continue ringing throughout the house.
