nini sighed as she pressed the green button and answered jenn's call, putting her phone against her ear.
"hi jenn-"
"nini." the blonde woman began sternly "have you been on your socials?"
"uh-just for a few minutes..." she said in a small voice
"you know you're not supposed to engage in anything that's related to ricky." jenn reminded her
"it wasn't-" nini took a deep breath to calm herself because she knew that it could go badly if she got really mad "i commented on gina's post. i didn't think it would be too bad because she's my best friend. we always interact with each other online and offline-"
"but this picture had ricky tagged in it. remember the contract-"
"how could i forget the contract that has been deciding my entire relationship with ricky for the past four years?" she questioned frustrated "look jenn, i get you're looking out for me and that benjamin is doing the same thing for ricky, but we're adults. we should be able to show off our relationship by now!"
jenn sighed heavily "nini, you know how the fans are with each other. this relationship could ruin your careers that you've built."
nini fell silent, knowing jenn was right yet feeling her stomach turn at the truth being told.
she took a deep breath and nodded slowly, though jenn couldn't see "i know. how do we fix this then?"
"well, we'll have to leave it be for now. i'm in contact with benjamin to make sure that ricky doesn't do anything either and that he posts something else to try and divert the attention from you. next time, be careful."
"i will." nini replied monotonously, ending the call before throwing her phone on her bed as she sighed.
