The remaining time of summer flew by quickly, between all the Order, and the activities the teenagers participated in together (such as playing Quidditch, and exploring every corner of London). Hermione and (Y/n) would not go with the others on some of the activities, for they would spend time together, reading, studying, or simply enjoying their time in one another's presence.

Being at Grimmauld Place, 12 often made (Y/n) uncomfortable, since her godfather was there. She despised him to her very core, regardless of being grateful for him making Hermione her Potions partner. (Y/n) had absolutely no idea why her biological parents made him her godfather, and she honestly doesn't care about the reason. Besides that, being at the Order's headquarters was entertaining; after all, it was fun to talk with Remus and, especially, Sirius.

Harry's trial had also gone well, and all charges against him were dropped. This news unsurprisingly made Lauretta relieved, and all of her friends, (Y/n) most of all, found it fit to tease her. In fact, that's the very thing the Slytherin Princess did once Lauretta, and some of their other friends, found their own compartment in the Hogwarts Express.

A blush embedded onto her cheeks, Lauretta denied yet again, "I don't fancy Harry, (Y/n)!"

Then, a familiar Hufflepuff opened the compartment door and chuckled lightly. "There's no need to keep denying it every time, Laurie. All of us are aware of your feelings for Potter."

Friendly smiles formed on almost everyone's faces, and in unison, they all (minus one), proclaimed, "Liam!"

"How've you been? You didn't write the whole bloody summer," said (Y/n), accusingly.

He chuckled as he walked into the compartment and closed the door behind him. "I'm sorry for that. I was in Arizona most of the break to see Thunderbirds! Even though I wanted to write to you lot, I didn't want my owl to have to fly across an entire sea and country."

" . . . You could've just used one of the muggle postal systems," muttered Luca, gazing down at his feet.

Ever since the Yule Ball, the two haven't spoken even once. Liam has made many attempts to do so, but since Luca still believed him to be dating Allison, he avoided him. However, now that he had his own boyfriend, he felt that it would finally be okay to speak to Liam; nonetheless, that didn't put an end to the awkwardness between them.

From hearing Luca's voice for the first time in a while, Liam couldn't help but smile and speak like a cheerful child. "You're right. I can't believe I didn't think of that. Luca?"
