Sophie

Sophie couldn't believe it.

3 days after they'd sent the cure in, it worked.

The cure worked.

So did the vaccine.

The following week was left with Kesler perfecting both recipes, then the Black Swan anonymously sending them out to various medical sites.

Slowly, but surely, it worked.

She couldn't believe it.

Sophie herself, along with another few spies from the Cygnets, Tam, Dex and Biana, personally went to visit Oralie to thank and congratulate her for it.

Oralie was crying.

Silent tears streaming down her cheeks as she accepted their thanks.

Because Kenric had sacrificed everything.

Sacrificed his life for that piece of information.

And it saved possibly billions of people.

Possibly the world.

So Sophie stayed.

She stayed with Oralie through the day, and the night, playing with Cecile.

Anything to cheer them both up.
