It was in the middle of the night when D was having trouble sleeping. She was having the same nightmare she's had every night. It always started the same. She was in the park on the surface as a child, she was swinging on the swings, waiting for her real parents.
When she saw them, she got off the swing and started running towards them. But as soon as she got close enough, her parents were shot to pieces by a drive by shooting. There was too much screaming from all the people, but she couldn't hear anything but her own screaming and crying. She then shot up awake, with sweat streaming down her forehead. She looked to her left and saw G's back turned to her. She carefully and quietly got out of bed and opened the door, but she didn't get too far out of his room before hearing movement.
"D, what are you doing? It's the middle of the night." G said behind her as he grabbed her hand that was on the doorknob and pulled it shut. She was quiet. G sighed and gently grabbed her wrist and gently dragged her back to his bed. He then sat her on the bed.
"What's wrong kid?" he asked her. She put her head down, but she didn't answer him.
G sighed again and put a finger under her chin, lifting her chin up to look at him. "Sweetheart, what's wrong?" he asked her again. D sighed.
"I had a nightmare..." she said.
"And what was it about?" he asked her in a concerned voice.
"It was about my real parents. I was 8 years old, and I was waiting on the swings for my real parents to come and get me and take me away from my adopted abusive dad, but when I saw them, I started running towards them, they were shot to pieces by a drive by shooting. I couldn't hear the other people screaming in terror, but I could only hear myself crying and screaming." she said as tears started to stream down her face.
G shushed her gently and used one of his fingers to wipe away her tears. "Shh, it's ok. That was a long time ago, you're ok now. You have a new family. Me, Papyrus, Toriel, and your fucking flower who's a massive fucking coward." G said looking directly at Flowey.
"Wh- h-how di-."
G cut her off, "don't think I didn't notice him the first time we met, I wouldn't trust him, not only is he a coward, but he also helps Chara kill us." G said as he narrowed his eyes at Flowey.
"W-wait D, I-I'm your friend, aren't I?" Flowey stuttered out in fear. D got up and grabbed Flowey's boot lifting him up into the air.
"I thought I could trust you, but turns out I'm wrong, I knew from the beginning when I met you, that you were working with Chara, but I thought I could break through that, turns out I was wrong. I never want to see your fucking face again." D growled as G opened his window. D then threw him out of the house.
"Wow kid, that's a first, when the other kids heard that, they didn't really care, except for one kid....the kid's name was Frisk, had no clue what gender they were, but when I told them the truth about the little fucker, they wouldn't believe me, as if they didn't want it to be true." G said as he closed the window again and sat back down on his bed. D then sat down on his bed with him, feeling tired. G then laid her down and laid down with her and both of them fell asleep.
After the eventful night me and G had with Flowey and my nightmare, it was morning. I woke up and I looked to see that G was gone. He's probably either eating, or he's at his sentry post. I thought to myself. I got up and put on some clothes and went downstairs. I was expecting to see both G and Papyrus, but to my surprise, they weren't there.
I then grabbed myself something to eat and I left the skele bro's house and continued my journey to free the monsters. I came across a store that had spider webs all over it. "Oh god, why did it have to be spiders." I groaned to myself. I knew it was Ms. Muffets store. I shoved my hands into my pockets expecting to find nothing when I felt some coins. This left me surprised. Who gave me the coins?
