I woke up in the morning, and looked at Vikram still sleeping.
I went near him and sat on the bed.

"Vikram wake up, it's morning ", I said.

I ruffled his hair.. And he opened his eyes slowly..

"How are you feeling? ", I asked..

" Ya much better, we should leave Sree ", he said

" Yes, I've been thinking of that too ", I said..

We got ready and wished farewell to Veena ma and Diya.
Thankfully Manoj wasn't there.

We were about to leave when he came.

" You are leaving? ", he asked..

I held Vikram's hand..

" Yes, Manoj sir, we got a really hospitable stay , so we are going back to our house ", I replied though all I wanted was to shout at this monster of a man..

" I didn't talk to you, you girl ", he said

" Oh.. You know what, Vikram is my fiancé, so whatever you say to him, it's implied to me too,", I said

"How dare this girl speak to me like this, Vikram", Manoj shouted.

" You know uncle ji, I'm speaking very less than what I should, and that is out of respect for Veena ma", I said and pulled Vikram

"Let's go Vikram", I said

Vikram smiled at me. " That was very brave of you.. You defended me. ", he said

" Well I wanted to speak more, but I controlled myself, will Veena ma be ok Vikram, or should we have taken her with us", I asked

"Hm.. I guess she would be, Manoj isn't staying for long.. I hope.. I'll talk to ma afterwards.. Let's go", he said.

" Vikram, whatever happened before your past, I don't care,.. I don't care.. About your weakness, strength anything.. You are nothing but perfect to me, so please don't say things like you said yesterday ", I told him

He nodded his head.

"Thank you.. You know something.. You were my medicine.. Feeling you near me, made me feel much better Sree", he said.

I smiled.

We drove to Bangalore.

The week went off fast due to loads of work. Then we had to travel to Mumbai, for the branch opening.

We went by flight.
I had asked Akshara and Ajay to come too.

"Which is my room? ", I asked Vikram.

" Same as mine", Vikram said

"What, how can I stay with you in the same room, book another room for me", I said

" We live in the same house Sree ", Vikram said

" But I have a different room", I said

"What is the problem Sree, we are engaged.. ", he said

" Not married", I said

"What do you keep on droning about not being married, which era are you in, come on.. Do you want me to fill your forehead with sindoor, so that we can finally be married and stay in the same room.. ", he said

I glared at him, how dare he speak like this.. And started walking to the room.

" Arrogant CEO", I murmured.
