3rd person POV

"We're very happy to be back at court."

"Your grace. Beautiful evening, is it not?" Colin said to Mary, kissing her hand and giving her some wine.

"Why aren't you with colin?...What's he doing with mary?" She asked, noticing the two talking.

"She's his queen. He's just paying his respects." Lola informed the girl, trying to convince herself more than her friend.

"Let's raise a glass. To the happy couple."
"Hear, hear!"

Mary halted when she went to sip her drink, remembering what she had been told by the mysterious woman in her room.

"Oh, lola, no." Mary muttered, noticing the disappointed look on the girls face.

"Aylee, I want to go dance" Mary informed the girl.

"You can't dance alone." The blonde replied.

"I won't be alone. Lola, come dance
with me. Take off you shoes. Come on. Dance with me. Take off you shoes."

"We're overrun by scots." Catherine stated In diastase, watching the girl run and dance bare footed in the middle of the ball room, others joining in around them.

"Dance with me! Come dance!"

Arabella was dragged to the floor by her attending Lady, leaving her dancing with her friend, both girls, along with the Scottish queen catching the attention of different people across the room.

Mary locked eyes with bash, stopping dancing for a moment to stare at the boy, before smiling and carrying on.

Arabella locked eyes with Francis who had been watching the girl across the room since she had arrived with her brothers and friend, riddled with guilt with how he had treated her earlier on.

He smiled at the girl, only to for her to look down and away from him for a moment, before she decided to look his way at him again, both locking eyes again.

The girl finally smiled as feathers begun to rain from above her, looking up at the lm she couldn't help but remember the times that Francis and her would play with pillows and they would rip and the feathers would float all around them.

When she locked eyes with him yet again and was finally smiling back at him, Francis couldn't help but let relief wash over him.

Briar had locked eyes with James as soon as she had dragged her princess onto the floor, in truth getting away from a conversation with himself that would leave her embarrassed I front of him was the real reason she wished to dance.

"Look... Elisabeth and philip are leaving."

"It's time for the consummation; The ritual, the ceremony, the mystery. Aren't you curious?" Kenna said, pulling the girls off.

"Shh..."

"We can't actually watch them...You know."

"It's a tradition for royals."

"Well, we are not allowed." Aylee said in worry.

"Don't you want to know what you're in for someday? With your francis?" The girl asked the queen.

"Pax vobis. In nomini patri Et fili et spiritus sancti.Amen."

"We're the only ones that matter here." Phillip muttered to Elizabeth.

"Let's go." Aylee said, walking off.

"Come on."

"Go, before anyone sees us." Mary stated.

"Colin?" Lola spoke, walking up to a man, thinking it was colin, but walking away when she saw it wasn't

"May I?"
