"I can't fucking believe it!" My dad shouted

I could hear him and mum in the kitchen arguing yet again

Closing the front door behind me I was ready to make my way upstairs but heard something my dad said

"How is it possible that we have two gay kids!" He roared sounding animalistic with rage

My chest tightened and breathing became shallow, he knows

How did he find out?

"Did you know!" He yelled at mom

"Or was you planning on hiding this fucking diary from me?!"

My head feels as if it's spinning as I make my way quickly and as silent as possible to my roomAs soon as I make my way into my room and flop down on the bed I pull out my phone

He knows, Jennie my dad knows

Straight away she texted back

Are you okay? What's happening?

I'm fine, my mum and dad are arguing about it. Dad found my diary somewhere

"Why did you mail me the diary then!" Dad shouted

"What do you mean? I didn't mail it to your work!" Nom yelled back.

They are both loud enough for me to hear them even though I'm in my room

Correction. My dad got mailed it when he was at work. But my mum claims to not have sent it to him

You don't think it could have been the same person who's been sending you the texts?

I didn't think of that. But it could be, I'm going to go. Byeee

Byeee

I opened up to my music playlist on my phone blasting my chemical romance through my headphones

There is a loud banging in my bedroom, dad comes through nearly bright red with a fierce expression on his face. I pulled out my headphones looking at him

"Come downstairs!" He commanded

Nervously I got out of bed. Following my dad downstairs I sat down on the sofa where he requested

"Do you know why I got sent your diary at work and if that wasn't enough a picture of you and some girl making out?" He asked enraged

"W-What picture?" I stuttered nervously

He whipped out his phone from his pocket and pulled up a text conversation

On the screen is a picture of Jennie and me, I looked curiously at the number feeling the same dread that I'm slowly getting used to

It's the same number as my stalker, I feel like I'm unable to speak, almost as if someone had wrapped their arms around my neck trying to make it so I can not speak and barely breathe

"Explain" he demanded

"Explain what? The fact that I have a girlfriend because then that's true. or why did you get a random text? If so I don't know how someone got hold of your number. Maybe it's that you got sent my diary because in that case mum found it yesterday but claims to not have sent it to you, so I don't know what you want explaining" I squeaked gulping

"No, I won't let both my kids be gay!" He stated

"What do you mean let your kids be gay?! You can't just 'let that happen' this is ridiculous! I'm staying with my girlfriend tonight I don't want to be anywhere near you!" I shouted fuming with rage

I rushed upstairs shoving clothes for the next day into my rucksack not caring what they were. Quickly speeding down the stairs I unlocked the front door

"Byeee!" I yelled as I slammed the door behind me

Running to Jennie's house I was there quickly. I rang the doorbell waiting for an answer, the door opened revealing Jennie's dad

"Hi, Lisa what are you doing here so late? Have you been crying?" He questioned squinting to look at my face in the darkness

I put my hand on my face realizing my cheeks were wet with tears

"Can I stay here? Just for tonight?" I asked feeling cold as I forgot my jacket

"Sure come in I'll make you a cup of tea and get Jennie to come downstairs," he said gesturing for me to come into the house

"Thank you" it came out as barely a whisper but he smiled in response

"Jennie!" Her dad called then went into the kitchen

I stood waiting at the bottom of the stairs for Jennie to come down. As soon as she saw me she rushed down the stairs

"Lisaa!" She nearly shouted giving me a hug

"Hi!" I replied as she pulled away

"What's happened? Why have you been crying?" She asked wiping away some of my tears

"M-My dad he w-was shouting then g-got me to come d-downstairs to talk to me saying I-I can't be a g-gay and that he doesn't want two g-gay kids," I said through sobs, the tears are now uncontrollably running down my face

"I'm so sorry that this has happened" Jennie replied hugging me with one arm again

We walked into the kitchen where Jennie's mum and dad are once I'd calmed down a little

"How many sugars?" Jennie's dad asked as we went to sit down by her mum

"Two please" I replied

"Same as Jennie" he chuckled looking down at the cups

"I'm so sorry for just showing up here unannounced" I apologized feeling guilty for inviting myself over for the second time today

"It's fine you can stay as long as you'd like," Jennie's mum said kindly

"Thank you I just don't want to be in that house at the moment" I admitted

"And on the plus side we get a sleepover" Jennie replied brightly

"Yeah that's completely fine girls just keep the door open," Jennie's mum said trying to sound strict

Jennie rolled her eyes in response but I'm just happy that I get to spend time with Jennie

Once we drank our tea we went upstairs getting loads of pillows and blankets together because tomorrow is the weekend

We constructed a kind of pillow fort with Jennie's laptop inside, we decided to watch some films and TV shows on Netflix

I got changed into my pajamas and got ready to go to sleep when we were too exhausted to watch anymore. Jennie was already in bed so I laid next to her

"Goodnight Lili" she whispered carefully placing a kiss on my cheek

"Goodnight Nini" I replied feeling my cheeks heating up from that nickname
