Chapter 17

Camille stood with her eyes screwed waiting for the impact, when it didn't come and she felt something splatter on her face her eyes shot open to the sight of the female with her throat ripped out. She turned her eyes to Dawn who was licking the scarlet blood off of her fingers and a smirk on her face.

"oh my god, you should have seen your face" Dawn said in a small laugh but Cami just looked at her with horror written all over her face. Dawn rolled her eyes and scoffed "what's with the face" Dawn asked bored.

"you killed her" Cami nearly shouted, she looked around seeing a two lines zig zagged, filled with body's "you killed all of them" fear evident in her voice, she started to stumble backwards holding her stomach like she was going to be sick.

Dawn once again started humming while walking towards Cami turning he into a compelling statue "you will forget everything that happened here and think it was just a normal day at work and I came here just to get a drink" Camille obeying and grabbed her stuff and walked out of the bar.

As Cami was walking down the street, forgetting everything that had just happened, bumped into Klaus. "there you are" Klaus said with a smile of relief. Cami furrowed her eyebrows then raised them

"you were looking for me?" she tilted her head with a small teasing smile on her face. Klaus threw his head back and chuckled "so what's up?"

"oh uh" Klaus started nervously "Dawn she- her emotions were flipped"

"flipped?" she asked

"like when a vampire turns off their humanity"

"okay... but how? she's a siren not a vampire" Cami asked confused

"long story short, when Dawn was asleep the devil flipped it" Klaus said in a bit of a rush now wanting to be in privet so they are away from prying ears "but lets go back to the compound" looking around hoping not to see Dawn or anyone they know.

"okay"

Kol stormed into the compound in a fit of anger. he had been looking for Dawn every where but she was no where to be found he looked in the bar and all over the French quarter and in the woods were the were-wolfs are but no such luck.

"I'm guessing you didn't find her?" Rebekah said coming from around the corner

"really!" Kol said in fake shock "I thought she was right next to me" he said sarcastically looking at his younger, blonde sister while she just stared at him with a straight face no trace of humour. "I looked everywhere in New Orleans she is no where to be found" Kol sighed sadly just wanting to wake up from this nightmare and his true love being back in his arms.

"maybe she isn't in New Orleans" Rebekah said her thoughts loudly and Kol snapped his head towards her and raised his eyebrows "before all of this she wanted to travel and see the world" Bekah reminded

"yes, but she wanted me to come with her" Kol tried to reasoned not wanting to think that his girlfriend was on the other side of the world

"her humanity is gone Kol, she's not the Dawn we know and love" Rebekah sighed and walked closer to him "as much as we all wish she was but she isn't and we need to find her and get her back to the Dawn we know and love" Rebekah said softly hoping that it wont be hard to do al this

Kol nodded and started to think "but there is a little problem in your plan Becks" and Rebekah raised an eyebrow "we know nothing about Sirens" Bekah sighed and nodded and they both started to research and find out all they can about sirens.

Dawn was walking down the streets of New Orleans trying to steer clear of Kol, she knew he was trying to find her she had caught him looking around, as she was walking she noticed a girl not even older than 15 getting pulled about and hurt by a man that was defiantly older that 24 down an ally with no one in sight.

Dawn walked up to the two with an snarl stitched into her face and grabbed the girls other hand to stop her from moving. the man turned round to see Dawn holding the teenagers hand and his nose flared and his eyes darkened "let go pretty lady" the man slurred.

Dawns snarl suddenly turned into a mocking smile "and if I don't?" she question the blonde haired man

"then it wont be pretty for you" he stop and turned his gaze to the 15 year old girl "and her" he threated the two women with a sick smile on his face

Dawn just nodded and let go of the 15 year old and the girl looked at her with disbelief "no no please" the teenager begged, Dawn just winked at her with a small smile

"I'm sorry but I carnet really be killed" Dawn stated. The man stopped in his tracks and let go of the girl and Dawn gave her a quick warning look for her run and she did

"oh yeah?" he raised an eyebrow and Dawn nodded cockily "want me to test that little theory out?" he asked

"go right ahead" she said in a bored tone, as he was about to punch her she started to sing which made his fist stop in mid air and lower his body slouched and his head dropped like he was out of a bad zombie film.

she lifted his head with a finger "look who not so big and strong now" Dawn teased "stopped all by one little song" she removed her find and turned around and looked at her hands "well it you who its not going to be pretty for, blonde" she turned around and shredded him to pieces, to the point he was unrecognizable.

Dawn grabbed the scratched up body and took a back way to the woods were no one could see her and left him there where she knew wolf were rumoured to have been spotted.

But what Dawn didn't know was that during all this she had one set of eyes of her. Davina she had been told about Dawn and how her emotions were off and how she was a siren by Marcell and by all the thing Davina had seen in her short but every hectic life she had never seen anything so traumatizing.

Davina quickly ran to the Mikaelson compound praying that she wasn't caught by Dawn. as she rushed into there she instantly spotted Rebekah and Kol along with Marcel, Klaus and Elijah they were all looking through old books that may have stuff on sirens while Freya was following a different lead and Klaus had took Cami home making sure she was safe.

Marcel was the first one over to Davina noticing her scared face "hey D, what's wrong?" Marcel asked in a caring tone

Davina raised her eyes too look into Marcels "Dawn sh- she" Davina struggled to get her words out as the events of what just happened replayed in her head but Dawns name definitely peaked an interest with the Mikaelson's

"Davina calm down" Marcel demanded in a soft way, Davina started to calm down breathing in and out slowly

"what happened with Dawn" Elijah said in his posh accent

"she killed someone" Davina started and went into the story of how her hands grew into a sickly grey and slashed the man into pieces with no mercy and how not one hint of guilt was on her face afterwards "and then she went into the direction of the woods" Davina finished

Kol looked at Rebekah "so she hasn't left New Orleans" Kol said with relief and Bekah smiled

"why would she leave New Orleans?" Klaus asked his younger siblings with curiosity

"well I spent nearly all of today trying to find her but I couldn't at all" Kol replied with a sad sigh

"so she avoiding you" Klaus deduced looking at his youngest brother with an raised eyebrow and Kol nodded with a shrug "why would a Siren with zero emotions neglect her past lover?" Klaus said figuring out why Dawn was in such a rush leaving the other day after she had woken up and why she was avoiding Kol.

Elijah walked closer to Nik and said "you think that Dawn is avoiding Kol because...?" not being able to figure out what he was trying to say

Klaus looked at his sibling and raised his eyebrows in disbelief at the dumbness of his siblings but as he was about to speak Freya walked in and said the words

"Its Kol" and everyone turned to her "Kol's the key to her humanity"
