Author's Note
Hey y'all. This is my first book but I've wanted to begin writing this since the spring of 2020. I've written the storyline and rough parts of this book already so the book should be completed soon (depending on how much shit I have to do for school). But only after it is completed will I edit it. Now that I'm almost done with school I have more time to really pour my love into my writing. To all my readers I just wanted to say thank you for giving this book a chance. Your support means everything to me so please don't hesitate to comment and vote.
I also wanted to say that though there is a love interest, it's not the centre of this book. I know I know, I get it. But the idea of this book came to me while I was in a low time and everything in my life only seemed to go downhill. I lost my relationship with this boy and my best friend was beginning to slowly drift away from me. Let's just say 2020 was not my year. Anyways, the point is — this book was written to portray that you don't need a love interest to be able to overcome your struggles. You have the power to heal yourself and realize that whether or not your family is related to you, family is the people in your life who want you in theirs.
